During his $44 billion takeovers of the San Francisco-based corporation, the entrepreneur made his remarks to the company’s employees.

Mr Musk, the world’s richest man, had his offer to buy the firm accepted by the board of directors in April but has since put doubt on whether it will go through due to accusations that bot and phoney account numbers are far higher than projected.

Mr Musk, who does a lot of Tesla business in China, complimented WeChat, which has over 1.2 billion users, during the all-hands meeting on Thursday.

According to CNBC, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that passing the one billion daily users threshold would be a success for Twitter.

In its Q1 earnings call earlier this year, Twitter stated that it had 229 million daily active users.

He also addressed fears that his takeover might result in layoffs at the tech firm.

“It is debatable. According to a source at the conference, Mr Musk stated, “The company does need to become healthy.” “Right now, the expenses outweigh the revenues.”

“Anyone who is a meaningful contributor has nothing to worry about,” he assured staff.

He also explained to his coworkers why he enjoys using Twitter, where he has 98.3 million followers.

“I adore Twitter,” he declared. “I get a lot out of what I do.”

And he added: “Some people use their hair to express themselves, I use Twitter”

Mr Musk was also questioned about remote working, something he has openly criticised at Tesla, where he has stated that employees who do not spend 40 hours per week in the office will be dismissed.

“Tesla creates cars, and you can’t make vehicles remotely,” he told Twitter’s workforce, adding that firing someone who “can only work remotely and is extraordinary” wouldn’t make sense.

The US Commerce Department has reported that it will give a request that will block individuals from downloading the Chinese-claimed social applications TikTok and WeChat beginning from September 20 (Sunday).

The office’s move is a requirement of Donald Trump’s unique leader request that allowed TikTok 45 days to either sell its U.S. business to an American organization or face a boycott in this nation.

Be that as it may, Trump actually has the alternative to revoke the request before it becomes effective on Sunday. ByteDance needs to get the endorsement of Donald Trump to stop the US boycott.

In the interim, ByteDance has been conversing with Oracle Corp and others so as to set up another organization, TikTok Global that will address the US government’s interests about the security of its clients’ information.

The US Commerce Department has announced that it will issue an order that will prohibit people from downloading the Chinese-owned social apps TikTok and WeChat starting from September 20 (Sunday).

The department’s move is an enforcement of Donald Trump’s original executive order that gave TikTok 45 days to either sell its U.S. business to an American company or face a ban in this country.

However, Trump still has the option to rescind the order before it comes into effect on Sunday. ByteDance has to get the approval of Donald Trump to stop the US ban.

Meanwhile, ByteDance has been talking with Oracle Corp and others in order to set up a new company, TikTok Global that will address the US government’s concerns about the safety of its users’ data.
