May saw the launch of the Comfort Electric by Uber in a few cities. Ever since the list has been growing in a fast paced. Moreover, it is to be noted that only a few premium EVs such as Tesla, Polestar, and Ford Mustang Mach-E is considered eligible for Comfort Electric trips. 

The company will sit them along with Uber Green, another EV product, which offers the drivers with an extra fee to use electric vehicles. 

Currently Uber Comfort Electric is available in Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore – Maryland, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Connecticut, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey, NYC Suburbs, Philadelphia, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St Louis, Vancouver (Canada), Washington, and DC. 

Comfort Electric comes off as an extension to the service, ‘Uber Comfort’. As part of the Uber Comfort service riders had the option to request extra legroom, quiet cars, along with other amenities, which are usually associated with their higher-priced Uber Black service. Riders have to pay about 20 to 40 per cent more in Uber Comfort compared to a typical Uber X trip.
