Shardul thakur who was released by CSK ahead of the mega auction is bought by team Delhi Capitals for 10.75 crores. Tough war was seen between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings.

India’s pace-bowling all-rounder Shardul Thakur is a hot and happening star. Mumbai’s star has gone on to become an all-format player for India since his heroics in Australia in 2021.

Chennai Super Kings purchased Shardul for Rs 2.6 crore in the IPL 2021 auction. Shardul played his first IPL match for Kings XI Punjab in 2015 and was then traded to Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017.

He was signed by CSK for 2.5 crores in 2018 and has been an integral part of the team. He also earned a spot on the Indian team through his explicit performances, and his contributions have proven valuable.

 The variations of Shardul have proven to be effective in getting wickets, especially at the death overs. His ability to hit long balls has been proven time and time again.
