The Russian army has lost thousands of military equipment in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian General Staff, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 157 Russian aircraft, 140 helicopters, 124 unmanned aerial vehicles, 732 tanks, 2 military war ships 1,946 armored vehicles, and 349 artillery systems.

Forbes journal calculated the most expensive Russian military vehicles which were destroyed by Ukraine. The first on the list is the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, the Moskva missile cruiser which was hit by two Neptune cruise missiles. The value of Moskva flagship is nearly 750 million USD.

On Friday, the United Kingdom’s Defence Ministry also says that the Kremlin is growing desperate. Russia has lost tens of thousands of soldiers and is using Soviet-era weapons. They further said that their outdated missiles are killing and injuring innocent Ukrainians.

The Anonymous Collective called DarkBloomSec claimed that they have successfully hacked the Russian Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution today. They have compressed 55MB worth of data in the Darkbloom’s Telegram account as well.

According to reports, the Anonymous Collective has been waging cyber war on Russia by actively hacking many state-sponsored websites in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Darkbloom’s Telegram account has claimed to leak the product source code extracted from unitsys.ru which is a company providing information kiosks, touch terminals, and other interactive equipment all over Russia.

They have also successfully breached the Federal Institute of Sao Paulo and disclosed the source code with other sensitive data. They have also claimed that the website of the Russian Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution has been compromised as well.

These are top state-sponsored institutions that perform the duties of the government.

According to the sources Darkbloom’s account can be reached by anyone with a Telegram account. The incident has been shared by several Twitter handles supporting the data breach act of the Anonymous Collective in response to the Russian invasion.

Since then there have been several incidents of hacking on Russian websites both government and privately funded. Recently, a Twitter account named Darkbloom claimed that they have “compromised” the website of Russian IT company obit(.)ru.

Darkbloom is administrated by a group of hactivists. They have been claiming to breach multiple sites across Russia. They are even posting proof of activities on their Twitter account.

They also tagged other two Anonymous collectives on their accounts such as Cyberknow20 and  PucksReturn. Three of these accounts are currently raging a cyberwar against Russia as detected from the tweets they produce.

Russia has been attacking Ukrainian with DDoS jeopardizing 100 million devices ahead of the invasion. Ukrainian Defense Ministry and Private Bank, Ukraine’s largest commercial bank has been imperiled. Russia also played a heinous role in destroying Ukrainian computers. UK’s National Cyber Security Centre said, “The cyber activity from Russia against Ukraine has been there, but is consistent with Russia’s cyber harassment of the country going back years.”

Dark website is enlisting various military-grade firearms coming from Western Countries for sale by several marketplaces. Those marketplaces are allegedly selling firearms to the Ukrainian army in the fight against Russia.

Now, these weapons are being available to several terrorist organizations instead of their former receiver. Weapons from rocket launchers to high-impact attacking systems are being purchased from the dark web marketplace.

Israeli cyber-intelligence specialist KELA has shared the results of their investigation. According to KELA the guns supposedly posted by several Ukrainians on darknet markets are not always real. One of the vendors posted, “Weapons Ukraine,” with lists of rifles, grenades, and bulletproof vests at a price range between $1,100 and $3,600 to be delivered in the territory of Ukraine. The vendor sold almost 32 of its weapons and showed no review on its site.

KELA has stated that these listings are also posted on several pro-Russian Telegram channels and Russian media outlets claiming that weapons are being smuggled through Moldova by ‘classified’ cargo trucks.

After looking into the matter several publications are claiming that it might be an effort to defame Ukrainians as unethical and untrustworthy. It is also been claimed that pro-Russian media is using this fake arms smuggling incident to their advantage.
