The IMEI listing revealed that it will be called the Redmi Note 12 when it arrives on the market. Now, the same device has been approved by Thailand’s NBTC authority. These certifications suggest that it will not take too long for the Note 12 to go official.

It should be noted that the Redmi Note 12 (model number 23021RAAEG) will be a 4G device. Hence, it will be different from the Redmi Note 12 5G, which has already been launched in India. The NBTC listing does not have any information on the major specifications of the device. However, recent reports have revealed almost everything about it.

Redmi Note 12 specifications (rumored)

The Redmi Note 12 is expected to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display and run on the MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS. For security, it will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 680 chip will power the Redmi Note 12. The FCC certification of the device revealed that it could be made available in multiple variants, such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.

The Note 12 will house a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. It will have a 13-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back. The device is also expected to be released in India.
