The latest Realme UI 6.0 update with firmware version of ‘15.0.0.304 (CN01)’ is revealed to offer a brand new user experience on the 13 Pro+ and 13 Pro Extreme Edition models, assuring smoothness, flexible and seamless operation, personalized and free design, and smart AI capabilities.

Speaking of the changelog, in terms of fluency, the brand adds a halo fingerprint unlocking animation, improves the home screen icon animation richness, new charging effect, optimizations in notification and control center animations, optimizations with interactive effects of floating windows, and new added pull-down global search and bracelet-style rebound effect.

Coming to the design, users will be able to enjoy a new home screen icon design with a large number of new system app icon designs. As of November 27th, 2024, Realme has pushed out version 15.0.0.320 (CN01) for the GT Neo6 and GT Neo6 SE, while the GT6 receives version 15.0.0.302 (CN01). These releases are part of the company’s broader rollout strategy, with only the GT5 and GT5 240W remaining to receive the official version update based on Android 15 for this week’s (November 25th – 1st December 2024) phased rollout schedule.

The Realme GT6 requires users to be on version RMX3800_14.1.0.181(CN01) to receive the update. For the GT Neo6, the required version is RMX3852_14.0.1.617(CN01), while the GT Neo6 SE users must be running version RMX3850_14.0.1.611(CN01).

Concurrent with the official version rollout, Realme has already initiated its internal beta testing program for the Realme 13 series (Pro, Pro+, Pro Ultra) and the Realme 12 series (standard, Pro, Pro+, Pro Ultra) in China.

Realme UI 6.0 Internal Beta Testing for Selected 12 Series and 13 Series Models in China

As per the official update from the brand’s side, the 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Extreme Edition, 12 Pro+, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Extreme Edition, and 13 Pro+ models have been made eligible for the Realme UI 6.0 internal beta testing program. The users of the aforementioned smartphones can now access the beta version of the Realme UI 6.0 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system before the official version rolls out.

To apply, go to ‘Settings’, select ‘About this device’, press on the Realme UI card, click on the three buttons on the top-right corner, and then apply for the Realme UI 6.0 internal beta program. Only 2,000 candidates will be selected for the Realme UI 6.0 internal beta testing program for each model.

Do keep in mind that as this is still the beta version, it is not yet stable as the official version and may carry certain bugs and issues. Users must be cautious and should submit their feedback by dialing ‘*#800#’ and filling it up on the feedback toolbox. Before upgrading with the Realme UI 6.0 internal beta version, it is also best advised to backup the device data. Also, make sure that the device is not rooted and the battery life is above 60%. At least 15GB internal space must also be left for ensuring that no update failure happens.

Note: Users who would like to return back to the previous official Realme UI version can do so by enabling the developer mode and then locally installing the roll-back package downloaded from Realme’s official (respective) page.

Over the months of Q1 2025, the Realme 10 Pro, Realme 10 Pro+, Realme 11, Realme 11 Pro, Realme 11 Pro+, Realme 13 sub-flagships, and V-series devices that include the V60 and the V60s models are revealed to receive the official version.

To add, the second batch list of eligible devices that will be receiving the Realme UI 6.0 official version will be announced in the month of March 2025, and the Realme GT2 Pro is one among the second batch devices.
