Realme will be launching its next C series smartphone, the Realme C53 in the Indian market tomorrow and the latest smartphone will be arriving as the next smartphone after the Realme C55. The smartphone has already had its launch in the Malaysian market but the smartphone that will be launching in India tomorrow will be different from that of the Malaysian version.

Here’s everything we know about the smartphone so far.

Realme C53 Indian Launch

A few days back, we reported to you Realme’s plan to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market and the teased images of the smartphone had a camera module resembling the iPhone 14 Pro’s rear camera module. Later it was revealed by the brand itself that the smartphone that is to arrive in the Indian market soon will be the Realme C53 smartphone.

Realme has also revealed that the smartphone will be featuring a 108MP main camera at its rear, will be having a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support and will be 7.99 mm thin. To speak more about its revealed specifications, the 108MP camera will be the first in-segment feature and the camera sensors provided will be able to capture ultra clear images. It will have a 79.37% bigger sensor area, 118.2% resolution improvement in high pixel mode and 100% resolution boost in 3x zoom mode. It will also support various camera modes like night photography, portrait mode and street photography mode.

Regarding the device’s battery, the Realme C53 that will be launching in India will offer a total standby of upto 39 days, a video playback of 16 hours and a music playback of 81 hours. With the 18W fast charging feature, users will also be able to charge the device to 50% in 52 minutes.

Now coming to its design, design-wise too the Realme C53 Indian version is different from that of the Malaysian version. The first difference is the absence of a square-shaped camera module. In the Malaysian version, the two cameras and the LED flashlight were placed within a square-shaped camera module. However, when you look at the Indian version, only the projected dual cameras and the LED flash are present. The rear panel design is also a little different. Unlike the Malaysian version which has a kind of textured glossy rear panel(for the gold colour variant), the Indian version has a clear glossy rear panel. The top part of the Indian version is also a little more different than the bottom and has a design with light leaks on it. In Malaysia, other than the gold colour variant, there is also a black colour variant as well.

Speaking about the certifications the Realme C53 smartphone has received to date, the smartphone has received the TDRA, SIRIM, NBTC, FCC and EEC certifications. The device also made its appearance on the Geekbench database revealing its single-core and multi-core performance specs. A tipster had also mentioned its listing on the BIS Indian certification platform as well. On all these platforms, the smartphone with the model number, RMX3760 was spotted.

In the Indian market, the Realme C53 smartphone is going to have its launch tomorrow, on the 19th of July 2023, at 12 PM noon. With its launch, we’ll be able to know more about its specifications and its Indian price point.

The market was anticipating the phone ever since Realme announced its upcoming launch. We covered the teased specifications of the Realme C53 a few weeks back. The expected Indian price of the phone according to rumored reports back then was Rs 9000-Rs 11,000. The present Malaysian price of MYR 550 is close to the expected price range as it amounts to Rs 9,851.35. However, the exact Indian launch price is not clear yet.

Coming to its specifications, reports have asserted that the Realme C53 is considerably identical to the Realme Nazro N53. India saw the launch of the said device a few days back.

The new Realme C53 comes in a big display size of 6.74-inch LCD accompanied by a refresh rate of 90Hz. To complement that, the touch sampling rate functions at 180Hz.

Contrary to most devices, the Realme C53 possesses a fingerprint reader on the phone’s side.

The Realme C53 smartphone has now made its appearance on the Geekbench database with the model number, RMX3760, and has been revealed that the device will come pre-installed with the Android 13-based operating system and will have a motherboard with codename, ums9230_hulk.

On the Geekbench database, the smartphone has scored a single-core score of 407 points and a multi-core score of 1473 points. The device will also be powered by the Unisoc T606 (12 nm) octa-core processor, with its eight cores clocked at 1.82 GHz. This is the same processor used in the Moto E13 smartphone, pointing out that the upcoming device will be a budget smartphone.

It’s listing on the Geekbench database has also revealed the device to have a RAM variant with a RAM of 6GB.

The smartphone has already received multiple certifications including the FCC, EEC, NBTC, TDRA, and SIRIM certifications, indicating that the device will be having its launch soon.

Realme C53 Receives the TDRA Certification

The upcoming Realme C53 smartphone has now received the TDRA certification and has made it to the certification platform with the model number, RMX3760. The smartphone has already made its appearance on multiple certification websites including Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, NBTC certification, EEC certification, and also on the FCC certification platforms and, on all the certification platforms had appeared with the same model number of RMX3760.

The smartphone has now been certified with the TDRA certification with an Equipment Registration Number of ER20035/23, and the certification will be valid till the 14th of May, 2026.

From its FCC certification, some of its specs were also revealed, as per which the smartphone will come equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and is to support a 33W SuperVOOC fast charge feature. It will also support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity.

Some of its other specs were also tipped recently and the upcoming smartphone is expected to be powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset. The tipster has also mentioned that the device may run on the Android 13-based Realme UI T Edition, unlike previous reports.
