Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi recently released the Redmi Pad 2 9.7 tablet in the global markets with the model number “2603ARP14G”, and it was also reported that its rebranded POCO tablet will likely break cover too. Well, the same has now appeared on the FCC database, revealing some key specs of this upcoming tablet.

POCO C Pad – FCC Certification

This upcoming tablet has appeared on the FCC database with the model number “2603APC14G” and has been listed with the FCC ID “2AFZZPC14G” (dated 16th March 2026). While the name isn’t mentioned, this model number was previously spotted on the HyperOS codebase (via XIMITIME), revealing its moniker to be Poco C Pad.

Via this FCC certification, it is revealed that the device will come with two colour options of Pantone Cool Gray and Pantone Red. Previously, only Motorola had partnered with Pantone to launch its smartphones in Pantone-curated colours, and now the presence of Pantone in a POCO-labelled device reveals that Xiaomi is also partnering up with Pantone.

Additionally, the label also confirms 18W fast wired charging support, similar to the Redmi Pad 2 9.7, for this tablet and further reveals that there will not be a charger included in the box. Speaking about its availability, the FCC document reveals several country codes, including CH (Switzerland), SI (Slovenia), SK (Slovakia), IS (Iceland), AT (Austria), BE (Belgium), BG (Bulgaria), HR (Croatia), CY (Cyprus), CZ (Czech Republic), DK (Denmark), PT (Portugal), ES (Spain), TR (Turkey), LI (Liechtenstein), EE (Estonia), FI (Finland), FR (France), DE (Germany), EL (Greece), HU (Hungary), IE (Ireland), RO (Romania), SE (Sweden), PL (Poland), NO (Norway), IT (Italy), LV (Latvia), LT (Lithuania), LU (Luxembourg), MT (Malta), NL (Netherlands), UK (NI) (United Kingdom – Northern Ireland), UK (United Kingdom), and RS (Serbia). In the end, there is also a “Change ID request letter”, which reveals that this upcoming tablet is indeed going to be a rebranded version of the already launched Redmi Pad 2 9.7. While the exact launch date isn’t revealed, it may happen soon as the device has now picked up the FCC certification.

The POCO M8s 5G smartphone, which was previously spotted on the Geekbench database, has now been officially announced by Xiaomi for global markets. The brand has shared the announcement via a press release, confirming its key specifications and features.

Starting with the display, the POCO M8s 5G smartphone features a 6.9″ FHD+ dot display that supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate. It offers a typical brightness of 700 nits and a peak brightness of up to 850 nits under HBM (High Brightness Mode). The display is also TÜV Rheinland-certified with Low Blue Light (Software Solution), Circadian Friendly, and Flicker-Free certifications, aiming to reduce eye strain during prolonged usage. Additionally, with Wet Touch 2.0 support, the display is claimed to function even when the user’s hands are wet or oily.

In terms of design, the POCO M8s 5G smartphone features a quad-curved back panel and a metal-crafted camera module that gives it a premium look. The device measures 169.48mm x 80.45mm x 8.40mm in dimensions and weighs about 217g, offering a solid in-hand feel.

Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, and the POCO M8s 5G smartphone is claimed to have achieved an AnTuTu V11.0.8 score of over 620,000. In testing scenarios, POCO states that 10 minutes of reverse charging can provide up to 11 hours and 10 minutes of standby on the POCO X7, and up to 64 minutes of calling time on the POCO M7 Pro 5G.

At that time, since the official moniker wasn’t known, it was speculated to be the rumoured Poco C81 Pro 4G. Now, lifting the curtains, the microsite has confirmed the device names, along with a few of its key specs and launch date.

As per what has been revealed on the microsite, both the Poco C81 and Poco C81x smartphones will be launching on the 23rd of April at 12PM IST in India. Speaking of the specs, the Poco C81 is confirmed to pack a 6300mAh battery, and it is claimed to offer up to 22+ hours of WhatsApp usage, 27+ hours of social media, 23+ hours of YouTube streaming, or 104+ hours of music playback.

Comparing it with the Poco C71 smartphone, the battery capacity is said to have increased by about 20%, while still maintaining a similar slim profile. Additionally, Poco also claims that the device will be able to retain up to 80% of its battery health even after 1000 charging cycles. The microsite further reveals a Cold Endurance Mode on the device, which is said to optimise performance in colder environments.

Speaking more about the Poco C81x, it is confirmed to feature a 5200mAh battery, and similar claims have been made regarding battery durability over 1000 charging cycles. In terms of usage, the device is said to offer up to 18+ hours of WhatsApp usage, 20+ hours of social media, 15+ hours of YouTube streaming, 90+ hours of music playback, or 43+ hours of 4G calling.

Both devices are also confirmed to support 15W wired fast charging along with 7.5W reverse wired charging. As for the colour options, a Blue variant has been teased for the Poco C81, while the Poco C81x is expected to arrive in a Black colour option.

A New Poco C Series Device Teased for India

On the Flipkart microsite, a new Poco smartphone has been teased for the Indian market. While the exact moniker has not been officially revealed yet, the microsite confirms that the upcoming device will belong to the brand’s C series lineup.

Speaking more, the teaser features actor Akshay Kumar holding the smartphone, along with the tagline “Poco C Series All-rounder is coming”. The microsite also highlights the number of units sold by Poco under its C series portfolio.

While the official moniker has not yet been revealed, the device is expected to be the rumoured Poco C81 Pro 4G smartphone, which was recently spotted on Xiaomi’s global website, where its specifications were revealed before the listing was taken down. Additionally, it had also appeared on the UAE’s TDRA and Singapore’s IMDA certification platform with the model number “25128PC17G”, while the IMEI database revealed multiple region-wise variants, including ‘25128PC17G’ (global), ‘25128PC17L’ (Latin American), and ‘25128PC17I’ (Indian variant).

Out of the above, the model number ‘25128PC17G’ was earlier spotted on the IMEI database with a different moniker of Poco C81. So, whether the device will launch in India as the Poco C81 or Poco C81 Pro 4G is currently unknown. But the chances of it being Poco C81 Pro 4G are higher.

With almost a day left before the launch, a tipster has now revealed the Indian pricing of the series, including the X8 Pro Iron Man Edition.

Poco X8 Pro Series Indian Pricing Leaked

Thanks to a tipster named Paras Guglani, the pricing of the Poco X8 Pro series is no longer a mystery. According to him, the Poco X8 Pro’s 8GB/256GB variant will be priced at ₹33,999, while the 12GB/256GB variant will be priced at ₹37,999. Meanwhile, the X8 Pro Max’s 12GB/256GB variant is said to be priced at ₹41,999, and the 12GB/512GB variant will reportedly cost ₹45,999.

He also claims that the base variant of the X8 Pro will come with an additional discount of ₹3,000. However, he did not mention whether the same offer will apply to the other memory variant or the Pro Max variant.

As for the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, its pricing is tipped to be ₹43,999, and with offers it could drop to ₹40,999, which indicates a ₹3,000 discount, likely in the form of an instant bank discount or cashback.

If we compare this with the Poco X7 Pro, which was launched last year in India at ₹27,999 (without offers), the price hike of ₹6K is visible. This means most smartphones launching this year may see an increased price due to the rise in component costs. However, Realme’s head of product & Marketing, Francis Wong, had recently confirmed via a post on X that this price hike will likely cool down by the second half of 2027.

The microsite hosting the Poco X8 Pro specs now also has a banner revealing that the Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition will launch in the Indian market on March 17th at 5:30 PM IST. On the same day, the Poco X8 Pro Series will also break cover in the Indian market.

This will be the first X series special edition smartphone to launch in India. Previously, India saw the launch of the Poco F6 Deadpool Edition. Poco later introduced the X7 Pro Iron Man Edition in global markets, but it did not arrive in India.

Tipster Paras Guglani shared the renders of the Iron Man edition smartphone. As per the leaked renders, the device appears to feature a dark grey finish with gold accents, along with a large Iron Man graphic in the centre and “IRONMAN” text.

In terms of design, the render shows Poco Limited Edition branding at the top right corner, with Stark Industries branding at the bottom. It also reveals an arc-reactor style circuit pattern, along with a dual rear camera setup featuring gold camera rings and an LED flash. Other than this, it is expected to bring the same spec sheet as the Poco X8 Pro.

Poco X8 Pro Series – Battery/Charging Specs Revealed

Starting with the global variant, the Poco X8 Pro is revealed to come with a 6500mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging support. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro Max is confirmed to offer a bigger 8500mAh battery. As per Poco Lab’s internal investigation, the Poco X8 Pro Max is claimed to deliver around 2 days of battery backup. Poco also claims that 80% of the X8 Pro Max’s battery capacity will be retained even after 1,600 complete charge cycles, which corresponds to over 6 years of usage. However, the company has not revealed the charging specifications for the X8 Pro Max’s global model yet.

Moving on to the Indian variant, the specs listed on the Flipkart microsite reveal more detailed information about the battery and charging specifications for both models compared to the global versions. According to the microsite, the Poco X8 Pro will feature the same 6500mAh battery capacity and 100W fast charging support as the global variant. Additionally, Poco confirms that the battery has been tested for extreme cold temperatures, offers up to 5 years of battery durability, and can deliver 2+ days of battery life under normal usage.

Speaking further about the battery and charging capabilities, the microsite also claims that the phone can provide up to 52 hours of non-stop 5G calling or over 12 days of standby time. With the 100W fast charging support, Poco claims that users can get a full day of charge in just 16 minutes. Other listed features include smart charging, PPS charging, and 27W reverse wired charging support.

Compared to the 8500mAh battery confirmed for the X8 Pro Max’s global variant, the Indian variant will offer a bigger 9,000mAh battery. With this larger battery, Poco claims the device can deliver up to 3.5+ days of non-stop 5G calling.
