Well, Indian consumers will not have to wait much now as the POCO Pad is officially confirmed to launch in India soon. This tablet will be made available exclusively via Flipkart and the microsite is already available on the e-commerce platform.

The tablet is listed with the tagline “Limitless Entertainment.” The launch date is yet not specified but in the coming days, POCO is expected to reveal the India launch date of POCO Pad. In the global market, POCO also unveiled the POCO Pen, POCO Pad Cover, and POCO Keyboard along with the POCO Pad tablet, let’s see whether these accessories will be making their debut in India as well or not. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has now entered the tablet market with the launch of the Poco Pad. This tablet has been launched globally alongside the Poco F6 series. Although it is not yet available in the Indian market, Poco announced at the Poco F6 India launch event that they plan to introduce the Poco Pad in India soon, along with a new TWS (True Wireless Stereo) and a power bank.

Poco Pad Specs

As predicted, this is a repackaged version of the Redmi Pad Pro (Wi-Fi), which has been recently released globally. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which, despite offering 5G connectivity, is not utilized in this tablet. Additionally, Poco has released a Poco Smart Pen, a Poco Pad cover, and a Poco Keyboard, all compatible with the Poco Pad.

The differences between the Poco Pad and the Global Redmi Pad Pro (Wi-Fi) include the launch colors and memory options. The Poco Pad is available in two colors, grey and blue, and only the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is offered.

Pricing and Availability

It is launched with a single memory option of 8GB + 256GB and will cost you USD 329 (approx. ₹27477.75 ), but you can get a discount of USD 50 as an early bird offer which will cost you $299(approx. ₹24922.711). The keyboard case will cost you $79 and the pen will cost you $59.

As we reported first, Poco will soon introduce its first tablet, and our report has now been confirmed. Poco has officially announced on its global website that their first tablet will launch alongside the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro on May 23rd.

For the Indian market, only the Poco F6 is confirmed for now, and it remains unclear if the tablet will also launch in India on May 23rd. The tablet, recently spotted on TDRA certification, is named the “Poco Pad” and is confirmed to be a WiFi-only variant. According to the FCC certification, the Poco Pad will run on HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14 and is likely to support 33W fast charging and WiFi 6 connectivity. Additionally, the Camera FV-5 certification reveals it will feature an 8MP front and rear camera.

The Poco Pad has also been spotted on SDPPI and IMDA certifications, hinting at its launch in Indonesia and Malaysia. Based on these specs and past rumors, the Poco Pad is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro (WiFi), which was recently launched in China. If true, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The teaser didn’t reveal any specs but did share a glimpse of its front, showing bezels similar to those of the Redmi Pad Pro.

POCO is all set to launch its first tablet in the market which will be called the POCO Pad. This upcoming tablet has bagged multiple certifications- EEC, IMDA, Camera FV-5, FCC, and TDRA. The tablet is also rumored to be accompanied by POCO Stylus and tablet keyboard as both devices have made their appearance online.

Today, our team at The Tech Outlook spotted the POCO Pad on the SDPPI certification website. It was listed with certificate number 99362/SDPPI/2024 and model number 2405CPCFBG.

The listing does not reveal much about the upcoming POCO tablet but it does hint towards their imminent launch. We already shared with you about the appearance of POCO Stylus on the certification website.

Here’s what we know about the upcoming POCO Pad

The TDRA listing revealed that the 2405CPCFBG model number belongs to the Wi-Fi-only variant of the POCO Pad. The FCC listing revealed that the tablet will run on HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14. It will feature WiFi 6 and will support 33W fast charging.

The Camera FV-5 listing suggested that the tablet will feature 8MP front and rear camera sensors. Reports also suggested that this upcoming tablet could be the rebranded version of Redmi Pad Pro which is also a part of the rumor mill currently and is nearing its global launch.

Since the tablet has bagged various certifications already it is expected that POCO might soon announce the launch of the POCO Pad.

Xiaomi’s sub-brands Poco and Redmi are both in line to launch their tablets in the global market. While Redmi is not new to the tablet market, Poco, on the other hand, is gearing up for its first tablet launch. Today, both have been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification.

Poco Pad on TDRA

This will be Poco’s first tablet and has already been spotted on EEC, IMDA, Camera FV-5, and FCC with the model number “2405CPCFBG”. Previously, it wasn’t known what name Poco might give its first tablet. However, thanks to the TDRA certification, it has been revealed as the “Poco Pad”, listed under the same model number “2405CPCFBG” with the registration number “ER31630/24”. Through the TDRA certification, it has also been revealed that this will be the WiFi-only version.

In addition to this, an earlier FCC certification indicated that it would run on HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14 and feature WiFi 6. The FCC certification also confirms that it will ship with 33W fast charging support. Additionally, Camera FV-5 hints at the possibility of it featuring 8MP front and rear cameras.

There are also rumors suggesting that the Poco Pad could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro.

Redmi Pad Pro(Wifi) on TDRA

The Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) was recently unveiled in the Chinese market and is expected to debut soon in the global market with the same specifications. Similar to the Poco Pad, it has been spotted on the TDRA certification with the model number “2405CRPFDG”. Again, TDRA didn’t reveal any specs of this tablet, but earlier sightings on Google Play Console have suggested that it might come with the same specifications as its Chinese version. A previous report has revealed that the Global Redmi Pad Pro (Wifi) will have two model numbers: “2405CRPFDG” and “2405CRPFDL”. Here, “G” signifies Global, and “L” signifies Latin America.

Now, looking at both model numbers, we can see “2405” at the beginning, hinting that these may launch globally in May or June. Since the Poco Pad is going to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro, we can also expect it to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SOC.
