According to a few reports and leaks, POCO is gearing up to launch its much talked about POCO F5 5G series. It is expected that under this series the company could launch two mid-range smartphones: POCO F5 5G and POCO F5 Pro 5G. Earlier we informed you that POCO F5 5G will reportedly make its debut on April 6^th in India and now it appears that the smartphone will be accompanied by POCO F5 Pro 5G.

These upcoming smartphones have been doing rounds on the internet for quite a long time now and just before their launch tipster Yogesh Brar who goes by @heyitsyogesh on Twitter has shared information regarding the specifications of these smartphones .

POCO F5 5G Specifications & Price ( Expected)

According to the tipster, this smartphone might sport a 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the brand-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. The device is supposed to house a massive 5500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging while it could pack up a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64 MP primary camera, 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and 2 MP macro camera.

As per a few recent reports, POCO F5 5G is expected to run on the latest Android 13 OS out of the box and you can also expect up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage on this phone.

Also, the tipster suggested that this upcoming smartphone is expected to land between Rs.30k-Rs.40k range.

This smartphone is expected to feature a 6.67 inches 2K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. POCO F5 Pro 5G might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC . Just like POCO F5 5G, this device is also expected to house a 5500 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It is supposed to be equipped with the triple rear camera setup that includes 64MP (OIS) primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 2MP macro camera.

Though the price range of this upcoming smartphone is still not unveiled.

According to the leaks and rumors, POCO is prepping up for the launch of its POCO F5 series in the global market. Under the F5 series, the smartphone brand is planning to launch two smartphones- POCO F5 5G and POCO F5 Pro 5G. POCO F5 5G was spotted on the FCC database last week, as we informed you earlier, and now POCO F5 Pro 5G is listed on SIRIM certification.

Debayan Roy who goes by @Gadgetsdata on Twitter has informed us that POCO F5 Pro 5G was spotted on the certification database with model number 23013PC75G. According to the tipster, this upcoming smartphone is expected to launch in the month of April or May.

POCO F5 Pro 5G Specifications & Pricing  (Expected)

It is claimed that POCO F5 Pro could be the rebranded version of the Redmi K60 that launched back in December 2022. If this is true then we can expect this upcoming smartphone to sport a 6.67-inch OLED 2K display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 processor and runs on Android 13 OS. It might feature a triple rear camera set up of 64MP +8MP+2MP with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 16MP front camera. It could house a 5500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Also, it is claimed by the tipster that POCO F5 Pro 5G will be featuring an in-display finger sensor.

Redmi K60’s price starts from CNY 2,499 so it could be supposed that POCO F5 Pro 5G carries a similar price tag.

POCO F5 Pro 5G has earlier made its appearance on the IMEI database and also on the FCC certification website hinting at its imminent launch, though POCO has still not made any announcement related to the launch of this upcoming series and it is tipped that the phone might launch in April or May, we might need to wait a bit longer for the official announcement of the launch of this device.
