Poco launched POCO C55 smartphone earlier this year in India at a starting price of Rs 9,499. It came in two configurations: 4GB/64 GB and 6GB/128GB internal storage. Now the smartphone is available on Flipkart at a massive discount with some additional benefits for buyers to avail.

POCO C55 6GB/128GB variant that was launched at a price of Rs 10,999 is available on Flipkart for just Rs 7,999. It means you get to save Rs 3,000 on the deal. Flipkart Axis Credit Card holders get Rs 400 cashback bringing down its price to Rs 7,599. An exchange offer of up to Rs 7,450 is also available on it. Buyers can also get it through a no-cost EMI option starting from Rs 392 a month.

Specifications

The POCO C55 smartphone comes with a 6.71-inch wide HD+ display protected by Panda Glass. The handset is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor paired with a Mali G55 MC2 GPU. It runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

The camera section includes a dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP primary camera. The front side of the phone boasts a 5 MP selfie camera. The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10 W wired charging.

The rear panel of the upcoming POCO C55 smartphone has a faux leather rear panel with a camera module similar to other POCO smartphones, with the POCO logo placed on the right side of the camera module in a vertical manner.

Reports had stated that the POCO C55 smartphone is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C smartphone and from the dual camera setup which is found in the POCO C55, this can be confirmed. The camera island houses the two cameras of the smartphone and the LED flash. On the rear we can also find a rear mounted fingerprint sensor as well similar to the Redmi 12C smartphone.

The POCO C55 smartphone will be launched on the 21st of February, 2023 at noon 12pm and will be available on Flipkart.

But today only just after this announcement tipster Ankit with Twitter handle @TechnoAnkit shared the information related to the specifications of the smartphone from his account.

Expected Specifications of Poco C55

According to the tweet, the smartphone could have a 6.71-inch HD+LCD display and 500 nits brightness. It might be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It might be packed up with a 50MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It could come with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 10 W charging.

Along with these specifications, the tipster also mentioned that the device will be having a rear fingerprint sensor, 2+1 card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB Port, LPDDR4X RAM, MIUI 13 OS, and Bluetooth 5.1 version.

The upcoming POCO C55 and the POCO X5 GT smartphones which are supposedly considered as rebranded versions of two Redmi smartphones, have appeared on Indonesia’s TKDN certification website.

The POCO C55 has appeared on the certification with a model number of 22127PC95G and the POCO X5 GT has appeared with a model number of 23049PCD8G. Both these smartphones are considered as rebranded versions of the Redmi 12C and the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphones respectively.

From the certification it has also been clear that the POCO C55 will be a 4G smartphone and the POCO X5 GT will be a smartphone supporting 5G network connectivity.
