PlayStation 4 was released in 2013 and has continued to receive new exclusives from Sony, even if those old-gen ports feel outdated. Similarly, PlayStation 5 was released on November 12, 2020. The last Sony exclusives like – Horizon, Forbidden West, and God of War: Ragnarok released both on PS4 &PS5 which showed that Sony was still supporting the era of cross-gen gaming into 2023 and has always believed in “generations”.

This was finally seen changed when PlayStation released a new trailer on January 16, 2023.

In the trailer, a montage of 23 games was shown which will be coming in 2023. But only 8 of them are coming to both PS4 & PS5 rest all will be coming in PS5.
