On Wednesday Yoga guru Ramdev was seen in a Video lashing out reporter when he was asked about the comment he made a few years ago regarding the Petrol price hike.

During the event in Haryana’s Karnal, Ramdev Baba was saying, ” The government says if fuel prices are low, they won’t get tax, then how will they run the country, Pay salaries, build roads? Yes Inflation should go down, I agree but people should work hard. Even I wake up at 4 in the morning and work till 10 at night.”

After hearing this one of the reporters asked what about the Past comment he made regarding the petrol price,” People should vote only for the party which ensures a Petrol price of Rs.40 and Cooking gas of Rs.300.”

To this Ramdev Baba replied, ” Yes, I said it, What can you do? Don’t Keep asking such questions. Am I your Contractor who has to keep answering your questions?” The reporter again asked but Ramdev Baba shouted furiously at him saying, ” Just shut up it’s not good for you. Don’t speak like this, you must be the son of decent parents.”

Petrol price has always been a problem in our country. After 2017, Petrol prices were decided by assembly but before that a phrase would be used “We have no control over these prices”. In addition to this Russia-Ukraine war has created tremendous changes in petrol prices.

Jokes apart, India imports 85% of petrol and oil which makes our country a top importer of Petrol in Asia. Elections are at the last phase in UP  we expect great changes in the prices

Meanwhile, Petrol prices will be in hike internationally since the Russia- Ukraine war is still going on and sanctions are posed on Russia in various ways .Not to forget that Russia accounts 10%  of global oil production and third of Europe’s natural gas

Russia is the major exporter of oil for most of the Central Asian countries as they fear because of this dispute there may be chances of cutting the supply.

In the end there will be petrol and diesel hike for sure and no way to escape from it.
