Here’s more about it.

OnePlus 1o Pro Receives Oxygen OS 13.1 Update

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OnePlus has started to roll out a new system update to its OnePlus 10 Pro smartphones. The latest update has a firmware version of NE2215_13.1.0.522(EX01) and will update the device to Oxygen OS 13.1.

Regarding the update, the latest Oxygen OS 13.1 update will be bringing the Zen Space features and the TalkBack feature, which we had previously seen in other OnePlus updates, to the device. It will also bring improvements to the overall gaming performance of the device. The auto-connect feature that is being introduced to the device with the update, helps in automatically connecting with other smartphones, tablets and PCs which are placed in close proximity. Users will also be receiving more collections in the Omoji’s library and its functionality has been expanded.

He further added that there will be 5 years of security updates that will be provided on selected devices.

The things were discussed at the open ear forums and according to the blog post, another meeting is going to be held on December 7th, 2022. Where more information and insights will be revealed to the public.

On the companies community page, it was also informed that OnePlus is working on better smartphone usage.

This is definitely a big boost to the one plus community as more and more security updates will be provided to the users.

The company hasn’t detailed yet what devices they will be offering the 5 years of security updates as of now. However, the company claims that it will be clearer on 7th December 2022.

The company also said that the meeting that is held in London was quite fruitful and users will be able to update their phones and keep it for a longer period of time with these regular updates.

We believe OnePlus and other companies are also moving in the same path as Apple. Meaning that apple regularly sends updates to their users, and companies like OnePlus are definitely working on building a better user experience.

So we will have to wait for more to get the correct insights as to when these updates are going to be rolled out and on which devices this update may be live for the next five years.
