The Chinese smartphone maker – OPPO had recently released its OPPO Reno 16 5G series in its home market in China, and along with the smartphones, the brand had also introduced its first secondary screen accessory called the OPPO Bubble. The global launch of the Reno 16 5G series was previously hinted as the devices had made their appearance on several global certification databases, and now, the vanilla OPPO Reno 16 5G has been spotted on the SDPPI certification database, confirming its launch in the Indonesian market.

OPPO Reno 16 5G – SDPPI Certification

As mentioned, the OPPO Reno 16 5G has now received the SDPPI certification with the model number of ‘CPH2865’, and the device has been listed on the certification database with the certificate number of ‘122251/DJID/2026’. The approval date is mentioned as the 26th of May 2026, and the PLG ID of ‘6813’ has also been used for the device. While normally the certification listing reveals the device’s moniker, under the marketing name, it has only been listed as ‘OPPO CPH2865’. So, no moniker or any key specs have been detailed via this SDPPI certification, but the same model number had previously appeared on several global certification databases, which had revealed a lot about the device.

Speaking more, the OPPO Reno 16 5G with the same CPH2865 model number has already been spotted multiple times earlier on different certification databases. From the TUV certification, it was revealed that the global variant will offer 80W wired fast charging support, while the TDRA certification revealed its actual moniker. The BIS certification had also confirmed the India launch of the smartphone. Furthermore, via the GCF database, connectivity options such as GSM 850/900/1800/1900 bands, WCDMA I/II/V/VIII bands, LTE FDD bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/26/28/32, LTE TDD bands 38/39/40/41/42/43/48, and 5G NR bands n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n12/n20/n26/n28/n38/n40/n41/n48/n66/n77/n78/n83 were revealed. EDGE Class 33, HSDPA Category 24, and EUL Category 6 were also mentioned.

Just to add, the NBD import and export database had also revealed that the handset will be featuring a 6.57″ display, and a 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage option was also pointed out. Apart from these revealed details, nothing more has been mentioned about the global variant through the certification listings.

Rest, it is expected that this global variant may come with the same set of specifications as that of the Chinese variant. However, this can only be confirmed once its launch is officially announced for the global markets. In the meantime, you may check out the specs of the Chinese variant below.

As mentioned, this new Starry White colour variant carries the same specifications as the global OPPO Pad 5, which is available as the OPPO Pad Air 5 in China, instead of the earlier model that was launched before the global version.

The tablet comes with the model number OPD2501 and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset. It is coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and the device runs on the ColorOS 16 custom skin.

For its display, the OPPO Pad Air 5 features a 12.1-inch LCD display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 2800 × 1980 pixels screen resolution, 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 100% sRGB coverage. It also supports up to 540Hz maximum touch sampling rate and offers a peak global brightness of up to 900 nits. The Soft Light version further brings a new generation high-precision nano-etching technology, which is said to improve clarity by 22% and eliminate 97% of ambient light interference.

On the camera side, the tablet has been given an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Regarding the battery specs, it is backed by a 10,050 mAh battery and supports 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. The device measures 266.01 × 192.77 × 6.83mm, and weighs 597 grams for the WiFi version and 599 grams for the SIM card version.

Other key specs include USB Type-C, WiFi 6, TÜV Rheinland Smart Eye Protection certification, super linear quad speakers, single SIM support, exclusive learning spaces, 5G network sharing, Application Relay, notes material flow in one shot, lightning-fast file transfer with iPhone, data transfer support with Insta360 GO Ultra, and file transfer support with other Android brands.

Following the latest price revision, buyers will now have to pay INR 10,000 more for both of its storage variants, and the increased prices are now reflecting on online platforms as well.

OPPO Find X9 – Gets INR 10,000 Price Hike in India

The OPPO Find X9 smartphone was brought out in India last year in two storage options of 12GB/512GB and 16GB/512GB, and the device carried respective price tags of INR 74,999 and INR 84,999. As per the latest updated pricing, both storage variants of the OPPO Find X9 smartphone have now received an INR 10,000 price hike, and this change has come into effect immediately.

Following the INR 10,000 price hike, from the previous price of INR 74,999, the 12GB/512GB storage variant is now priced at INR 84,999. On the other hand, the 16GB/512GB storage variant, which was earlier listed at INR 84,999, is now priced at INR 94,999. To note, the revised pricing has already been updated on Reliance Digital’s product page for the device.

However, on Croma, the OPPO Find X9 smartphone is still currently listed at its launch price, but this too is expected to be updated soon. Recently, several OEMs have also increased the pricing of their devices, which has been attributed to the rise in component prices because of AI. OPPO Enco Air5s – Specs and Features

OPPO’s latest Enco Air5s TWS earbuds have been introduced in the Chinese market with the model number “ETEF1”, and it comes as a semi-in-ear type wireless headphone. The device has been given a newly customised 12mm large-amplitude dynamic driver unit, and it is said to offer powerful bass and bright treble. 360-degree stereo surround sound and headphone-side spatial audio are also key features.

For its design, the OPPO Enco Air5s has a 3.9gm cloud-like body, and each earbud weighs 3.9 grams. The total net weight of the device is 38.7 grams, while the charging case weighs 30.9 grams. Its overall size is 52.19 x 24.66 x 57.19mm, and the TWS earbuds have also been brought out in a Beautiful Starlight Purple colour option.

On the noise cancellation side, noise cancellation support has been given on the OPPO Enco Air5s, and it can intelligently switch between deep noise cancellation, light noise cancellation, and transparency mode. ENC call noise reduction, flagship vocal noise reduction algorithm, and three-mic AI call noise reduction are also supported on the device. The brand also claims that it can offer clear calls even while running or cycling, and it is also said to turn spaces like dormitories into a library-like quiet space.

Speaking more, the earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0, dual-device connection, and a transmission radius of 10 metres. Dual-sided stereo output, 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response range, three microphones, full-device spatial audio, and IP55 dust and water resistance rating are also offered on the device. The earbuds have also been given AI translation features for international travel, along with face-to-face translation and simultaneous interpretation support. Precise and quick controls, including slide gestures for adjusting volume, are also there.

In terms of battery, the OPPO Enco Air5s is said to offer up to 6 hours of battery backup on the earbuds and up to 30 hours with the charging case in transparency mode. With noise cancellation turned on, it again offers up to 6 hours on the earbuds and up to 30 hours with the charging case, while with noise cancellation turned off, up to 20 hours on the earbuds and up to 100 hours with the charging case are claimed. The charging case packs a 530mAh battery, and the wired charging time for the earbuds and charging case is approximately 90 minutes. A USB Type-C charging interface is also given.

Pricing and Availability

About its pricing and availability details, the OPPO Enco Air5s will be made available for purchase in China from the 29th of May. It comes in three colour options of Moonlight White, Dark Night Black, and Starlight Purple, and carries a price tag of CNY 299.

OPPO Reno 16 Pro 5G (PMK110)

OPPO’s latest Reno 16 Pro 5G smartphone has been launched in the Chinese market with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, and it is coupled with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The Android 16-based ColorOS 16 custom skin runs on the device, and OPPO has also equipped it with the Shanhai Communication Enhancement Chip and an independent Wi-Fi chip.

For its display, a 6.78″ 1.5K LTPO OLED flat screen is given, which supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 3600 nits peak brightness, 1800 nits high brightness mode, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and 1.15mm bezels. On the camera side, a 200MP main camera with OIS, ±4° image stabilisation, and a micro gimbal structure is present. It is joined by a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera at the rear, while for selfies, the smartphone has a 50MP front-facing autofocus camera.

In terms of battery, the Reno 16 Pro 5G packs a 7000mAh+ battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also supports 80W UFCS, 44W third-party UFCS, 55W PPS, and 13.5W PD charging. Other key specs include IP69K/IP69/IP68 dust and water resistance ratings, optical fingerprint scanner, bypass charging, shortcut key/AI button, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

Speaking of its dimensions, the smartphone measures approximately 161.31mm in height and 76.46mm in width. Its thickness is around 7.86mm for the Starry Night colour, around 7.70mm for the Moonlight Black colour, and around 7.79mm for the Dream Blue colour. The device weighs approximately 208 grams for the Heartbeat colour, 205 grams for Moonlight Black, and 207 grams for Dream Blue.

The standard OPPO Reno 16 5G has also been introduced in China, and it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset. LPDDR5X/LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage are also offered for the device, and it too runs on the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 custom skin. The Shanhai Communication Enhancement Chip and an independent Wi-Fi chip are also equipped within the smartphone.

Coming to its display, the Reno 16 5G features a 6.32″ 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display, and it also supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 3600 nits peak brightness, 1800 nits HBM, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. For cameras, a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto camera are given at the rear. A 50MP front-facing autofocus camera is also there for selfies.

Regarding its battery, a 6700mAh+ battery is offered, along with 80W wired fast charging support. The charging features also include 80W UFCS, 44W third-party UFCS, 55W PPS, and 13.5W PD. IP69K/IP69/IP68 dust and water resistance ratings, optical fingerprint scanner, bypass charging, shortcut key/AI button, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC are among the other key specs.

About the dimensions, the Reno 16 5G measures approximately 151.21mm in height and 72.42mm in width. Its thickness is about 8.36mm for the Starry Night colour, 8.29mm for the Starry Purple colour, and 8.20mm for the Moonlight Black colour. The weight is mentioned as approximately 191 grams for Heartbeat, 189 grams for Starry Night Purple, and 188 grams for Moonlit Night Black.

OPPO Bubble (VBG01)

The brand’s first secondary screen accessory, called OPPO Bubble, has also been brought out. It is also referred to as the OPPO Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen and comes in a silver colour option.

Speaking more about the product, it is equipped with the BES 2800 platform and has a 1.73″ AMOLED display. The screen supports a 466 x 466 pixels resolution, 266 PPI pixel density, and brightness levels of 100 nits, 300 nits, and up to 600 nits maximum brightness. 4GB storage is also offered on the accessory.

Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi are supported for connectivity. In terms of battery, the OPPO Bubble has a lithium-ion battery with a rated capacity of 550mAh/2.09Wh and a typical capacity of 560mAh/2.128Wh. It features a USB Type-C charging port, and the charging input is rated at 5V ⎓ 0.6A.

Regarding its size and weight, the accessory weighs approximately 27.5 grams and measures 58 x 58 x 7mm. An IP54 dust and water resistance rating is also supported on the device.

OPPO Pad 6 – Specs and Features

Both the OPPO Pad 6 and its Soft Light Edition variant feature the same set of specs, with the only difference being the display experience offered on the Soft Light Edition. As per the details shared, the Soft Light Edition is said to reduce 97% of light distraction, while also bringing a 10% increase in anti-glare capability and an 87% reduction in screen reflectivity.

A 12.1″ LCD Display that has a 3000 × 2120 pixel resolution, 7:5 golden ratio, and 304 PPI pixel density has been given, which supports up to 900 nits HBM peak brightness, a cinema-grade DCI-P3 wide colour gamut,upto 540Hz touch sampling rate, and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 144Hz.

Under the hood, the OPPO Pad 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processing platform, paired with the Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU. It comes with LPDDR5X RAM, while the ROM specification mentioned is UFS 3.1 @2Lanes HS-Gear4. To note, expansion card support is not offered on the device. On the software side, it runs on ColorOS 16, and the network access model is OPD2601.

For cameras, the OPPO Pad 6 has been equipped with an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera supports 4K 30fps, 1080P 30fps, and 720P 30fps video recording. Video stabilisation is also supported at 4K 30fps, 1080P 30fps, and 720P 30fps, while super image stabilisation is supported at 1080P 30fps. The device also supports 1080P time-lapse photography at 30fps.

About the connectivity specs, the OPPO Pad 6 supports Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 5, 802.11a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Display, WLAN network sharing, Wi-Fi 5GHz 160MHz, and 2×2 MIMO. It also supports network overlay with Wi-Fi 2.4GHz 2×2 and Wi-Fi 5GHz 2×2 concurrent support. The transmission protocol mentioned is USB 3.2 Gen 1, while the data interface is USB Type-C. For Bluetooth audio, SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC 5.0 codecs are supported. To add, Type-C digital headphones are supported, but Type-C analog headphones are not supported.

Speaking more, the OPPO Pad 6 comes with 6 speakers and 2 microphones. It does not support SIM cards, and fingerprint recognition is also not supported. However, facial recognition support is offered. Satellite positioning is not involved on the device, while the sensors listed include an ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and Hall effect sensor.

For productivity and learning-related features, the OPPO Pad 6 supports WPS PC version, panoramic free window, AI-powered circle, AI drawing, note enhancement, simultaneous reading and note-taking, self-developed sticky notes, self-developed document editing, and article translation. Its office-related functions include panoramic freeform window, PC-level file management, computer screen collaboration, PC keyboard and mouse sharing, WPS PC version, and AI drawing.

Coming to its dimensions, the OPPO Pad 6 measures 266.93mm in height, 193.35mm in width, and 5.99mm in thickness. The standard version weighs around 579 grams, while the Soft Light Edition weighs around 577 grams. In the box, both versions come with the main unit, charger, data cable, and user manual.

OPPO Pad 6 – Pricing and Availability

Regarding its pricing and availability details, the OPPO Pad 6 will officially go on sale in China starting from the 29th of May. Pre-orders have started from the 25th of May, and the first-sale offer period will be live from the 25th of May to the 30th of June.

The OPPO Pad 6 Soft Light Edition is offered in two colour variants of Galaxy Silver and Starlight Blue, while the standard version is being offered in the same Galaxy Silver colour, along with Space Gray. Pricing-wise, the former will be made available in 8GB/256GB at CNY 3,799 and 12GB/256GB at CNY 4,199, while the standard version has three memory variants, priced at CNY 3,499 for the 8GB/256GB option, CNY 3,899 for the 12GB/256GB option, and CNY 4,299 for the 16GB/512GB option.

Speaking more about the features that are being brought, the update will be focused on offering a smoother, smarter, and more connected user experience to users.

With this update, OPPO is adding the Live Space feature that will spotlight capsule notifications over the wallpaper, and users will also be able to tap on it to move into a more immersive experience. This feature has been added with the tagline – “Silence the Noise, Dive into Immersion.”

The O+ Connect feature will also be added with this update, and with it, users will be able to transfer files in an AirDrop-style manner with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, and Mac). Several AI features including AI Grouping, AI Popout, AI Menu Translation, and AI Scan are also part of this update.

To note, the rich visual summaries feature will be supported in Belarus, Russia, Thailand, Taiwan (China), Singapore, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Malaysia.

OPPO has now expanded its A6 series in the Indian market with a new handset called the OPPO A6c. The smartphone is currently listed for sale on the OPPO India website, and it is being offered in two storage options.

This Indian variant comes with the same specsheet as the one which was seen in the global variant. The handset features a 6.75″ (17.15cm) LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, 90.5% screen-to-body ratio, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports 16.7 million colours, 256 PPI pixel density, 86% DCI-P3 colour gamut in Vivid mode, 100% sRGB colour gamut in Natural mode, 700 nits typical brightness, and 900 nits typical HBM brightness.

Under the hood, the latest OPPO A6c smartphone is powered by the UNISOC T7250 chipset, coupled with an 8-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU clocked at 850MHz. The device is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. Storage card expansion and USB OTG support are also given on the device.

For its cameras, the OPPO A6c packs a 13MP wide-angle rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 81-degree field of view, 4P lens, and autofocus support. At the front, the device carries a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, 77-degree field of view, and 3P lens. Camera modes such as Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Pano, Time-Lapse, Sticker, Hi-Res, Google Lens, and Pro are supported at the rear, while the front camera supports Photo, Video, Portrait, Night, Panorama, and Sticker modes. Coming to its battery, a 7000 mAh typical battery backup has been given on the OPPO A6c, with the rated capacity being 6820 mAh. The device also supports up to 15W normal charging and 15W PD charging.

About its design and body, the handset measures about 16.65cm in height, 7.82cm in width, and 0.90cm in thickness, while it weighs about 215 grams. For biometrics, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition support have been offered. The device also carries a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, and side fingerprint sensor.
