The registration has begun and interested candidates can apply to be a part of it.

Here’s more about it.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G – OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 Program

Only the Indian users of the Nord 2T 5G smartphone are eligible to apply for the program and do note that as this is the beta version, it won’t be stable enough and might carry both known and unknown issues in it. Even if the users will be able to experience the latest OxygenOS 14 on their devices, some of the features will be absent.

To speak of the changelogs, an upgraded Aquamorphic design along with Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and sound effects are part of the beta update. Improvements will also be brought to system stability, launch speed of apps, and smoothness in animation. Other improvements in cloud photo service by Google Photos, and in the photo-video permission management system are also there. A carbon tracking AOD will also be added to the device.

Some of the known issues include the disappearance of the lock screen charging animation and the absence of a music output card in the control center.

How to Apply for the Program?

Candidates who are interested in becoming a part of the OxygenOS 14 open beta program can go to the “Beta program” menu on “About device” in “Settings”, and can apply for it there. After reviewing the application, if found eligible, the update will be rolled out. It should be noted that only 5000 applicants will be selected in total and carrier models won’t be considered eligible.

Before updating, users should also ensure that there is at least 4GB of internal storage left within the device and that there is a 30% or more battery charge. In order to be considered eligible for the program, they will also have to update their device to the latest stable version of OxygenOS.

To roll back, users will be able to download the update package via OnePlus’ respective server page and then locally install it on their device.

How to Submit Feedback?

To submit feedback, dial “*#800#” on Google Dialer and fill it up on the pop-up menu that appears.

OnePlus and Vivo are two of the best smartphone brands available in the market and we would be comparing the features of two smartphones which are the Vivo V27 Pro and the OnePlus Nord 2T. If we talk about the launch date of the two phones, the OnePlus Nord 2T was launched in the market on 19 May 2022 whereas the Vivo V27 Pro was launched on 1 March 2023. Though the Vivo V27 Pro has come recently in comparison to the OnePlus Nord 2T which came a year before, it is quite famous among users because of its awesome design and features.

Display

OnePlus Nord 2T comes with 6.43 inches wide AMOLED display that features a 90Hz refresh rate and 1080*2400 pixels resolution. The display sports a 20:9 aspect ratio and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Vivo V27 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch wide AMOLED display with 1B colors and a 120Hz refresh rate. The resolution, aspect ratio, and refresh rate are similar to the former one.

Processor

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G runs Android 12 based on OxygenOS and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor. The Vivo V27 Pro runs Android 13 based on Funtouch 13 which is the latest version of Android. Similar to the former one this phone is powered by the same processor.

Camera

Vivo V27 Pro is the latest and doesn’t bring something very different from its competitor because both of the phones feature a triple camera setup on the rear side of the phone. Both of the phones come with a 50 MP primary OIS camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP macro camera. In terms of the front camera, the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G lagged behind because of the 32 MP camera whereas Vivo V27 Pro is ahead with a 50MP camera.

Battery

Again Vivo V27 Pro is ahead with a 4600 mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging and the OnePlus Nord 2T packs a 4500 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.

So, if I were to draw a conclusion, the Vivo V27 Pro would be considered better than the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G because the former runs the latest Android 13 version. Additionally, the Vivo V27 Pro also outperforms the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G in terms of battery life and front camera quality. However, despite these differences, the two phones are still quite similar overall.

Amongst the umpty number of 5G smartphones in the market today, are you confused to find the perfect phone? This article will compare two 5G smartphones in the market today.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro and the OnePlus Nord 2T are undoubtedly two good 5G smartphones. But the question is which of them is the best.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Max octa-core processor while the OnePlus Nord 2T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 octa-core processor which is a better processor than the Oppo Reno 7 Pro.

Both the Oppo Reno 7 Pro and the OnePlus Nord 2T have an AMOLED, 90Hz, HDR10+ display. But the screen size of the OnePlus Nord 2t is 6.43 inches which are a little less than the Oppo Reno 7 Pro which has a screen size of 6.55 inches. Both phones are protected with the Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The main camera of both phones has a triple camera setup with a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP camera and a single selfie camera unit of 32MP.

Speaking of the sensors both the phones have an under-display, optical fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a compass. But the Oppo Reno 7 Pro gives its users a color spectrum sensor to the phone.

Both phones are also powered by a 4500 mAh nonremovable battery. But when the Oppo Reno 7 Pro offers a 65W fast charging feature, the OnePlus Nord 2T offers its users an 80W fast charging feature.

Pricing Oppo Reno 7 Pro vs OnePlus Nord 2T

The OnePlus Nord 2T starts at a price of Rs. 28,999 whereas the Oppo Reno 7 Pro starts at a price of Rs. 32,900 on Amazon.

So when it comes to performance, OnePlus Nord 2T is the beast but when speaking of the cameras the Oppo Reno 7 Pro is the best.

For safety, the display is covered in Gorilla Glass. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 CPU, which has eight cores, drives the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. There are two RAM options: 6GB or 8GB.
A Dimensity 1300 SoC has been added as its new CPU, which improves performance somewhat. The panel features a 90Hz refresh rate and is unchanged from previously.

The device comes with OxygenOS 12.1 (which is based on Android 12.1). There is very little bloatware and only one pre-installed third-party app. The software runs well, and the 90Hz display makes everything feel seamless.
