The smartphone brand OnePlus finally unveiled its much-awaited flagship OnePlus 13 series in India and global markets. Along with this latest smartphone series, the brand has also launched a new color option for OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds.

OnePlus 13 Series: Features

The series runs on OxygenOS 15.0  based on Android 15. The company has promised to release 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches to both smartphones. Both smartphones are backed by a 6000mAh battery. The series boasts features like- Circle to Search, PassScan, Magic compose, Intelligent search, Google Gemini, Aqua Touch 2.0, love Mode, AI Detail Boost, Livephoto, ODAD feature, Theft protection, and more.

OnePlus 13

It sports a 6.82-inch ProXDR LTPO display that offers QHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4500 nits peak brightness and is protected with a Ceramic guard cover lass. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone packs up a 50MP Sony LYT-808 main camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 telephoto camera, and a 50MP S5KJN5 ultrawide camera on the rear side and on the front it features a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera. It supports 100W SuperVOOC charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. The device is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It supports 80W SuperVOOC charging. The device packs up a 50MP Sony LYT-700 wide camera, a 50MP S5KJN5 telephoto camera, and an 8MP ultra wide camera on the rear side while on the front it features a 16MP selfie camera. Other features include- WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, in-display optical fingerprint sensor, alert slider, 3 mics, dual nano SIM slot, and IP65 rating.

OnePlus 13 Series: Availability

OnePlus 13 comes in Midnight Ocean, Arctic Dawn, and Black Eclipse colors while OnePlus 13R comes in Astral Trail and Nebula Noir colors. OnePlus has introduced a 180-day free replacement program in India for purchases of OnePlus 13 or OnePlus 13R made before February 13, 2025.

The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, OnePlus, following the debut of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus Ace 5 series devices in its home market, has already scheduled the global launch of the OnePlus 13 series consisting of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R (re-branded OnePlus Ace 5) models.

In the Indian market, it was previously announced that the brand would also unveil a new variant for its OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds on the same day and now, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 in a new Sapphire Blue color choice has been revealed. Its landing page is currently live on the Amazon shopping platform, and via the listed teaser poster and teaser video, its design aspects have also been revealed.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds device was introduced in the Indian market back in August 2024, and initially it was made available in two color choices of Midnight Opus and Lunar Radiance. On the coming 7th of January 2025, the same day the OnePlus 13 series is set to have its launch globally, for the Indian market, the brand is also making a new Sapphire Blue color variant available for its OnePlus Buds Pro 3 earbuds.

Speaking more, the design remains similar to the other two color variants, notably with a leather mixed body, featuring the connectivity button on the right of the charging case, as well as both ‘ONEPLUS’ and ‘CO-CREATED WITH DYNAUDIO’ branding respectively at the front and back. Possibly, the same specs would be offered, but it remains to be seen at what price the brand would be launching it.
