The UK-based consumer electronics manufacturer, Nothing which has till date launched only smartphone and earbuds devices is going to expand its portfolio. “CMF by Nothing” which has been in talks for quite some time, has now become official and Nothing is planning to launch a smartwatch and a TWS device under the new branding.

CMF by Nothing – Smartwatch and TWS Coming

It has only been about two months since we have started to hear frequently about the “CMF by Nothing” branding and the new products the company is planning to launch under it. Well, “CMF by Nothing” has now become official and the company plans to launch two new devices later this year.

The smartwatch device with the model number, D395 is said to have its launch was spotted on the BIS Indian certification platform and has also been filed for trademark in India. The proprietary charger of the device with the model number, C332 is also said to have been certified by the BIS certification platform of India. The tipster also mentioned that the smartwatch in India will be manufactured by Cosonic Electroacoustic Technology.

To note, previously Nothing also shared a concept of a Nothing Dot Watch made by a Nothing Community member, which was about a quasi-analog watch with a 1mm RGB LED matrix with four circular LEDs and a crystal on top of it.

Now regarding the other device, the TWS earbuds with model number B163, along with its charging case have also been certified by the BIS certification authority and are also to be launched later this year.

While there are no other details available regarding the specifications or more about the two devices, one thing is confirmed, both devices will be having their launch in the Indian market. Let’s wait until more updates are revealed, with which we’ll have better clarity about the devices.

The Nothing B155 Ear(1) receives the Bluetooth SIG certification. Will the Nothing Ear(stick) get the certification?

Here’s What We Know

The Nothing Ear(1) which was launched last year has received the Bluetooth SIG certification. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group(SIG) conducts the certification process and will check for the device’s interoperability with other devices made by different companies

The Nothing B155 TWS Earphones have a Bluetooth hardware version of JX195-02-EAR and a software version of 1.0.0.24. The device supports Bluetooth of version 5.2.

Other Specifications

The Nothing Ear(1) has 11.6mm drivers and 3 in-built microphones on each earbud. The device has clear voice technology and has an IPX4 sweat and water resistance. It also supports wireless charging as well.

The earbuds can offer upto 5hrs of battery life which can be expanded to upto 34hrs with the charging case.

So the next question is, when will the Nothing B157 Ear(stick) get the certification?

Nothing Ear(stick)

The Nothing Ear(stick) is built with 12.6mm custom drivers and has 3 inbuilt microphones on each of the earbuds. It has a half-in-ear design and unlike the Nothing Ear(1) has press controls on it.

The device has an IP54 sweat and water resistance as well. It can offer a battery life of upto 7hrs which can be expanded to upto 29hrs.

As of now, there aren’t any reports available that suggest that the Nothing Ear(stick) has received the certification. We’ll wait for any new updates regarding this.
