The company is based in London and has a number of notable investors, such as iPod inventor Tony Fadell, Twitch co-founder Kevin Lin, Reddit CEO Steve Huffman, and Youtuber Casey Neistat.

Ear (1) was the very first product by the company and it was well received by people. The unique transparent design really sets the product apart from its competitors.

The next step after this was the first smartphone and Nothing Phone (1) was launched in July 2022. Just like people anticipated, the smartphone came with a transparent design. The glyph interface on the back had mixed responses from people.

Nothing Phone (1) has received a tremendous response in the Indian market. This year, Nothing launched the Ear (2) on March 22 and The Nothing Phone (2) on July 11 globally.

Thanks to its lightning elements on the rear side, it can now be customized better than before. Nothing has also introduced Glyph progress for Uber, which is an experimental feature. It will show the progress of an incoming Uber ride.

With this update, you can add widgets and quick settings widgets on the lock screen and home screen. You will also get to see 4 new wallpapers and a one-handed mode for easy and convenient usage.

Improvements

The camera, battery, and network have been significantly improved with this update. In camera you will find enhanced low light camera performance, improved HDR camera effect, and improved clarity for motion capture.

There will be reduced power consumption during data transfer, and improved Glyph Interface after this upgrade.

Bug fixes

This System update makes sure to resolve foggy image issues when using the front camera in the backlight issue. App lock, Glyph, and Quick setting-related issues have also been resolved.

This update is 179 MB large in size and is available to download as per the user. This news is worth noting because Nothing Phone(2) will be available from July 21 onwards. As of now only pre-order pass buyers can choose their phone variant and place an order till the 20 then it will be made available for everyone. And getting this update within a few days of launch will bring a smile to users’ faces.
