Now to improve the performance of this newly launched device, the company has released a new software update.

As officially announced by Nothing, Nothing OS 2.0.2 software update is now being rolled out for the Nothing Phone (2) users with some key improvements.

Nothing OS 2.0.2 Key improvements

• Updated Android Security patch
• Camera improvements-Improved low light performance, Enhanced Bokeh effect in portrait mode, Overall clarity improvements, Faster HDR processing speed

As said by the company, the priority in this software update has been given to the camera while this latest OS makes the user experience on their device even smoother. For now, the update is available for Phone (2) users but the company has promised to launch the latest version of Nothing OS 2.0 for Phone (1) before the end of August.

The Nothing OS 2.0.2 update which is expected to be rolled out to the Nothing Phone (2) smartphones this month, is going to bring certain improvements along with UI refinements and bug fixes to the device. The improvements will include better camera stability, improved image qualities & HDR tuning, and also, improved haptics. The volume issue that the device had will also be fixed with the update.

Most of the issues that the device was reported to have will be addressed with this update and, on a later basis, new features like the option to hide apps and new sound packs for the Glyph composer will also be made available.
