Instead of attaching video files as videos, you can send video messages that can be instantly recorded and shared.

These new instant video messages are similar to the existing voice messages. Instead of a voice, videos will be the carrier of messages. Every WhatsApp user will be able to access this new feature.

To use this new video feature in conversation, you need to open your WhatsApp app first, then go to the chat or group where you want to send the video message.

In the bottom right, you will see the microphone button which is used for sending voice messages. Just tap to switch to video mode.

To record the video, you need to hold the button. Alternatively, swipe up to lock and record the video hands-free. Once you are done, leave the button and the video will be sent.

The sent videos will play automatically on mute when opened in a chat. To hear the sound, people will have to tap on it. Meta promises that video messages are protected with end-to-end encryption to keep your messages secure.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a freeware and cross-platform service owned by United States tech conglomerate Meta Platforms. WhatsApp allows users to send text, voice messages, and video messages, make video calls and share images, documents, user locations, and other content.

The WhatsApp application runs on mobile devices and can be accessed from computers. The service requires a cellular mobile telephone number to sign up. The service was created by WhatsApp Inc. of Mountain View, California, which was acquired by Facebook in February 2014.

It became the world’s most popular messaging application by 2015. By 2016, it has become the primary messaging app in regions including Latin America, the Indian subcontinent, and a major portion of Europe and Africa. By 2020, WhatsApp will have more than 2 billion users worldwide.

This technique is now available to all customers, including those who still use the traditional G Suite Basic and Business.

You may now choose an option to display events on your calendar only if they originate from a sender you know, according to a statement from the Google Workspace team today. This will help keep your Google Calendar free of spam. When you choose this setting, email summons to events from unsolicited emails will still arrive in your inbox; however, they won’t show up on your calendar until you accept them.

Google claims that recognized senders include folks in your contacts list, in your corporate domain, or with whom you’ve already interacted if you receive invites from them.

Google Workspace administrators can switch from the default setting permitting invitations from anybody to the new setting at the domain level after the rollout.

The company has reportedly introduced a new feature named Intensive Wake Up Throttling to Google 87. It prevents JavaScript from waking up a tab more than one minute after it has been hidden from the view for more than 5 minutes.

The company has claimed that it reduced Chrome’s CPU usage by up to 5x and by doing that it has considerably extended the battery life up to 1.25 hours for all battery-led devices. Google has also stated that for Chromebooks also the new feature will adapt quickly to reduce CPU utilization and extend battery life.

The company document says, “The JS timer Intensive Wake Up Throttling (Doc) feature has been shipped in 86, which will align the timer wake-ups to 1 minute interval after a grace period of 5 minutes. The 5 minutes timeout is very conservative and was chosen to allow a launch of Intensive Wake Up Throttling with minimal regression risk. So now we’re considering reducing the timeout to 10 seconds, only for pages considered loaded when they are hidden.”

The new feature can be installed very soon at the end of the test in the Chrome Canary and Dev version. However, you can install the latest version of Chrome Canary or Chrome Dev. Then open Chrome Canary & enter “chrome://flags/#quick-intensive-throttling-after–loading” in the address bar to set Quick Intensive Throttling after loading the flag to enable its relaunch.

This feature can be seen in the Google Assistant’s settings. Consequently, for using this feature, you have to store audio recordings on your device to help Google Assistant to recognise you. Audio stays on the device and it can be deleted any time by turning off the new personalised speech recognition feature.

Also, when you turn on Voice Match, you can teach the Assistant to recognise your voice. And then to verify who you are before it gives you the results. However, you can turn on Voice Match for a home Assistant-allow devices like speaker, Smart Clock, etc.

This feature will give a rapid means to begin playing shuffled song on the application and it can moreover, bed placed on the home screen to be utilized as a choice to play downloaded music in a shuffled way.

Meanwhile, the application is indicating playlists of Lata Mangeshkar as an homage to the legend who expired on February 6 due to Covid infection.

How this feature will work in Android

Pressing the YouTube Music icon for long time indicates a modern “Downloads” app shortcut. Occurring above “Search” icon, tapping will play random songs. This seems to encompass any playlists you possess separately classified for offline playback.

This feature is only working on Android and there is no news about iOS devices. Meanwhile, this feature will arrive as the best option for song lovers.
