Read more about it below.

Addverb Technologies’ Humanoid Robots Coming Next Year?

The Noida-based Addverb Technologies has now announced the company’s plan to introduce humanoid robots next year in 2025, and is ready to compete with other giants like Tesla, Agility Robotics, Boston Dynamics, Figure AI, among others. These AI-powered humanoid robots that are said to arrive next year will be capable of performing and executing multiple tasks, and will thereby be very useful in fashion, energy, retail, and many other industries.

The company is also revealed to make the best out of its partnership with Reliance Industries [Mukesh Ambani has 56% stake in Addverb Technologies], bringing Jio AI platform and 5G technologies in their making. VLA (visual and language action) technology, advanced GPU technology, energy efficient actuators, and dual arm capabilities are some of the other important specs that will be incorporated on to the humanoid robots.

Addverb Technologies Co-Founder and CEO Sangeet Kumar said, “Our foray into humanoid robotics is driven by our ambition to eliminate ‘3D’ jobs – those that are Dull, Dirty, and Dangerous.”

About its cost, nothing in particular has been mentioned, but Sanjeet Kumar did acknowledge that the process of making humanoid robots requires a lot of money. But even if this is the case, the brand is positive that it will be able to compete with other global leaders of this sphere. [Just to add, Tesla Optimus robots are expected to be priced in between USD 20,000 and USD 25,000.] Moreover, Addverb Technologies’ humanoid robots will be made aligning with the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Stay tuned for more updates.

The Head of Disney+ Hotstar states that this action will help to improve its overall user base.

Here’s more about it.

Disney+ Hotstar Free Live Stream

Disney+ Hotstar with an aim of improving it’s over all user base has announced that it will be live streaming the most awaited cricket tournaments, the Asia World Cup 2023 and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup for free to its mobile application users. The exciting news was announced today, on the 9th of June, 2023, and Sajith Sivanandan, Head of Disney+ Hotstar shared of how the platform has been at the forefront of India’s growing OTT industry. He further conveys that this step by Disney+ Hotstar will help in improving its overall eco-system.

However, it should be noted that this is a major setback to JioCinema, one of the other leading live-streaming OTT platforms of the country and the platform had recorded the highest number of viewers for the Indian Premier League final of 2023 after it won the IPL digital streaming rights for a period between 2023 to 2027. The rights previously belonged to Walt Disney Co’s Disney+ Hotstar.

For those unaware, in India after the entry of JioCinema, the platform has been acquiring a lot of rights and has even started to charge for its contents with a vision to take over its other competitors and Disney+ Hotstar as part of it had lost many of its paid customers to JioCinema which explains this sudden backlash.

Even amidst this growing competition among OTT platforms, cricket lovers this season are assured the best live-streaming experience, and this time, they are even going to save some of their money as well.

However , by December 2023, the services will reach larger sections of the country as well.

Reliance has a tie up with certain huge organisations like Google and Meta for its smooth execution of the plan. Users, along with the owners of the industry, expect a good outcome of this launch as it will bring an expected boost in certain industries, including but not restricted to, mining, warehousing, and manufacturing.

According to the sources, Ambani has invested around $25 billion in these services. The tweet “True 5G” is still expected to be true while it offers its services to the users. Mukesh Ambani, on the launch, said, “Jio 5G services will connect everyone, every place, and everything with the highest quality and affordability. We are committed to making India a data-powered economy, even ahead of China and the US.” Well , seems like Jio will have to face competitors like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone with their new launches and services as well. Customers might be drawn to 5g at the same time, so none of them would remain silent. Let’s see what kind of strategies the competing industries bring on board to land at the same page as of Reliance Jio

The investment will be made on renewable energy infrastructure including generation plants, solar panels, and electrolyzers.

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani made this announcement earlier this month. This strategy will transform all the clean power into hydrogen. As hydrogen is the fuel of the future.

Reliance ids opting for Hydrogen against India’s wholesale electricity market, which is degraded by financially low utilities and by delayed payments.

“Reliance Industries is preparing itself to capture the entire value chain of the green hydrogen economy in India,” said Gagan Sidhu, director at the Centre for Energy Finance at New Delhi-based think tank CEEW, reports say.

In 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to make India, the third biggest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world and also a major energy importer for becoming a hub for production and export of the fuel.

Green Hydrogen is critical for sustainable energy and net-zero emissions economies as it is a clean energy solution. Green Hydrogen is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable sources.

There are many countries working on hydrogen strategy, where the U.S.A, India, China are expected to reshape the global market, according to analysis.

Other major companies of India like Adani Enterprises Ltd., NTPC Ltd.(National Thermal Power Corporation Limited), and IOC(Indian Oil Corp.) are also working on the same strategy for Green Hydrogen.

If the investments are implemented, the western state will attain net-zero carbon emissions by 2035. According to the news, Ambani has boosted his intention to invest in green projects. It announced plans to invest $10 billion in renewable energy in June.

Reliance plans to invest five trillion rupees ($67.4 billion) in Gujarat over the next ten to fifteen years to build a 100-gigawatt renewable energy power plant and construct a green hydrogen eco-system.

Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) will benefit from the company’s eco-system, which will encourage entrepreneurs to adopt new technologies and ideas that will lead to captive usage of renewable energy and green hydrogen.

The company has announced that it will invest additional 600 billion rupees ($8.1 billion) in new energy manufacturing-integrated renewable manufacturing for solar panels, electrolyzers, and fuel cells. In addition, during the next 3 to 5 years, 250 billion rupees ($3.37 billion) will be invested in existing projects and new ventures. The company also stated that it will spend in upgrading Jio, its cellular operator, to 5G and expanding its retail operations.

The conglomerate’s decarbonization and green ecosystem projects are intended to help Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitions. India’s installed renewable energy capacity hit 150 GW in November, accounting for approximately 40% of the country’s total installed power capacity of 392 GW. By 2030, the country aims to have 500 GW of installed renewable energy capacity and to be carbon-neutral by 2070.
