Following the recent listing on the TDRA and SGS certification platforms, the next Vivo V70 smartphone model has now received the SIRIM certification. In related news, the upcoming Vivo X300 FE and JOVI X300 FE smartphones have now been certified by the Bluetooth SIG authority too.

Vivo V70 (V2538) – SIRIM Certification

On the SIRIM certification platform, the Vivo V70 smartphone has made its appearance with the model number of ‘V2538’, and it has been listed with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/15K/1225/S(25-6676)’. Its moniker has also been mentioned on the certification platform, and the upcoming device is categorized under the ‘Mobile Phone’ section. About its certification validity, it will be valid till the 23rd of December 2026.

Vivo X300 FE (V2537, V2542) and JOVI X300 FE (J2505) – Bluetooth SIG Certification

Coming to the Bluetooth SIG listings, the Vivo X300 FE smartphone has been listed with two model numbers of ‘V2537’ and ‘V2542’, and alongside it, the JOVI X300 FE device which carries the model number of ‘J2505’ can also be spotted. From what it seems, the Vivo-branded and JOVI-branded devices could be re-branded versions of each other.

Speaking more, the IMEI and EEC listings of Vivo’s X300 FE smartphone were spotted earlier, and its arrival to the European market was pointed out. The SIRIM listing of the Vivo V70 smartphone has now confirmed its Malaysian launch, whereas its previous TDRA, SGS, FCC, and BIS listings pointed to its launch in UAE, Europe (Finland), US, and India. The same device also made its way to the IMEI and Geekbench databases as well. Specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB storage, Android 16 OS (with the OriginOS 6 on top), 2G/3G/4G/5G network, Wi-Fi 6 (with 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual band support), Bluetooth, NFC, GNSS, and more have also been revealed for Vivo’s V70 smartphone.

In terms of its launch time frame, the Vivo V70 smartphone is said to launch in late January 2026, while Vivo’s X300 FE might only be hitting markets at a later stage next year. INR 45,000 and INR 60,000 are tipped to be their respective price points, however these are not the final prices and might be changed. For Indian customers, only the 8GB/256GB storage option may be made available for the Vivo V70 device, and color choices of Red and Yellow are expected to be offered.

Back in December last year, a report emerged confirming that Vivo was likely planning to launch smartphones under a new brand name called Jovi. At the time, the reason behind this move wasn’t clear, nor was it known in which market the brand would debut. But now, the picture is clear, Vivo has launched the Jovi V50 and Jovi V50 Lite in Brazil.

The reason for launching under a new brand name is due to trademark issues in the country, as Telefônica Brasil already holds the rights to the Vivo trademark there.

Interestingly, both smartphones are identical replicas of the Vivo V50 and Vivo V50 Lite. Although it has been more than 3–4 days since the launch, there is still no official word on the pricing from the brand. However, on the official Jovi website, the Jovi V50 is listed in two colour options—Red Anchor and Satin Black, with a single memory configuration of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. Meanwhile, the Jovi V50 Lite is available in Black Eclipse and Titanium Gold, also in a single configuration of 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Unfortunately, neither device supports expandable memory.

As for pricing, according to Telecompaper.com, the Jovi V50 is priced at BRL 4,999, while the Jovi V50 Lite is listed at BRL 3,999.

Vivo V50e and Jovi V50 – Bluetooth SIG Certification

The Vivo V50e and Jovi V50 smartphones bear the model numbers of ‘V2428’ and ‘V2427’ respectively, and the two have been listed on the Bluetooth SIG database with their monikers.

About Vivo’s V50e smartphone, via previous updates, a few of its expected specs which includes the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, Android 15 based FuntouchOS 15, and 8GB RAM option were revealed.

Regarding the Jovi V50, this device is expected to be a re-branded version of the Vivo V50 smartphone with the same model number – ‘V2427’. Vivo has already unveiled its V50 smartphone in the Indian market, and its key specs are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, Adreno 720 GPU, Android 15 based FuntouchOS 15, 6.77″ AMOLED display (with 1080 x 2392 pixels resolution & 120Hz refresh rate), 50MP (main) + 50MP (ultrawide) dual rear cameras, 50MP selfie camera, 6000 mAh Si/C battery, and 90W wired & reverse wired charging capabilities. The device comes in three color choices (of Rose Red, Starry Night, & Titanium Grey) and four storage options (of 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, & 12GB/512GB).

Three new and upcoming smartphones – the Jovi V50 Lite, POCO C71, and Redmi A5 devices have now made it to the IMDA certification database. Via this listing, the launch of the three in the Singapore market has been confirmed.

Jovi V50 Lite, POCO C71, and Redmi A5 – IMDA Certification

The Jovi V50 Lite (model number – ‘V2440’), POCO C71 (model number – ‘25028PC03G’), and Redmi A5 (model number – ‘25028RN03A’) devices have received Singapore’s IMDA certification, and while the Jovi V50 Lite is revealed to be a 5G mobile phone, the latter two are suggested to be 4G smartphones.

Also to add, the Jovi V50 Lite is also pointed out to support WiFi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity, however the POCO C71 and Redmi A5 models listed on the IMDA database does not support NFC, but has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities. Furthermore, as mentioned above, the IMDA listing also confirms the launch of all the three devices in the respective global market.

Speaking of previous updates, the Jovi V50 Lite is expected to arrive as the re-branded version of the Vivo V50 Lite model, and it has been previously spotted on the EEC and IMEI databases. On the other hand, the Redmi A5 could be re-branded as the POCO C71, and the two have received EEC, FCC, and BIS certifications too. Moreover, the Redmi A5 has also been listed on the IMEI database and was certified recently by the TDRA authority.

Additionally, few key specs concerning the Redmi A5 and POCO C71 models have also been revealed via their certification listings, which include the 4G/3G/2G network, WiFi 5 (dual band), Bluetooth (BR + EDR + LE), NFC (optional), as well as Android 15 operating system (with HyperOS 2.0 on top). The two are also mentioned to come in four storage options – 3GB/64GB, 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB.

Earlier reports suggested that Vivo is planning to launch three new smartphones under its Jovi sub-brand: the Jovi V50, Jovi V50 Lite, and Jovi Y39 5G. While the Jovi V50 has already been spotted on multiple certification platforms, discussions so far have focused exclusively on the 5G models. However, today, we have identified a new 4G smartphone that will also come under the Jovi branding.

This new smartphone has been spotted on the Google Play Console supported devices list. It is listed with the model number V2425. The moniker listed in the database is Jovi Y19s 4G. Beyond this, no additional specifications are revealed.

Digging further, we found the same model number listed on the Bluetooth SIG certification with the moniker Y200 4G.

If you recall, Vivo launched the Y200 4G in Pakistan, which was a repackaged version of the Indonesian Vivo V40 Lite 4G. Therefore, it is highly likely that the Jovi Y19s may feature a similar design and specifications to the Vivo Y200 4G. While we await an official announced, you can check the specs of Y200 4G.
