Infinix Hot 40 series featuring Infinix Hot 40i, Infinix Hot 40, and Infinix Hot 40 Pro is finally launched. Each of the smartphones comes in an affordable price bracket. The Hot 40i is powered by Unisoc T606, the Hot 40 is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 and Infinix 40 Pro smartphone comes with MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Let’s get to know about each of them in detail.

Specifications of Infinix Hot 40i smartphone

The Infinix Hot 40i smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch LCD FHD+ Super-Touch 90 Hz display with 720×1612 pixels resolution and 480 nits of peak brightness. The handset is powered by Unisoc T606 SoC paired with 4/8GB LPDDR4 RAM and 128/256 GB UFS storage. Its storage can be expanded via a MicroSD card.

In the camera section, the smartphone boasts a 32 MP camera on the front and a 50 MP camera on the rear. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18W charging capability. It also features a side fingerprint sensor for security.

The smartphone comes in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, or Starfall Green.

The Hot 40 smartphone features a 6.78 inch LCD FHD+ Super Fluid 90 Hz display with 500 nits of peak brightness and 1080×2460 pixel resolution. It offers up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 270 Hz touch sampling rate.

The Hot 40 smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with 4/8GB LPDDR4 RAM, expandable up to 8GB virtual RAM. It comes in two storage options 128 GB and 256 GB(eMMC), which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.

In the camera section, it boasts a 32 MP front camera and dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 50 MP primary camera with a 2 MP macro camera. It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The handset runs Android 13 with XOS 13.5 and features Magic Ring notifications designed for a pill-shaped display notch.

It comes in four color options Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, or Starfall Green.

The Infinix Hot 40 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.78-inch wide LCD FHD+ 120 Hz display that sports 500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by a Media Tek Helio G99 processor paired with 4/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, expandable up to 8 GB virtual RAM. Buyers can opt between 128 GB and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via microSD card slot.

In the camera section, it features a 32 MP front camera with dual flash. The rear side of the handset sports a triple camera setup featuring a 108MP main camera with 2 MP macro and AI triple cam. It runs Android 13 and also features MagicRing notifications. The handset is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. It comes in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green.

All smartphones come under $200 and the company has yet not announced much about their availability.

Infinix’s upcoming Hot 40 series smartphones have been spotted on the Google Play Console database. The front view image of the smartphones, along with some of their key specs, have also been revealed via the listing.

Infinix Hot 40 Series – Google Play Console Listing

Three smartphones of the Hot 40 series – the Hot 40, Hot 40 Pro, and the Hot 40i devices, have appeared on the Google Play Console database, with model numbers – X6836, X6837, and X6528, respectively.

The vanilla Hot 40 smartphone will be powered by the Helio G88 chipset from MediaTek, just like its predecessor, and will have the ARM Mali G52 GPU. The device is also revealed to have the Android 13 operating system out of the box.

The pro model, the Hot 40 Pro smartphone, will arrive equipped with the Helio G99 chipset and will be integrated with the ARM Mali G57 GPU. It will also have the Android 13 operating system onboard.

The Hot 40i smartphone is likely going to be a budget smartphone, and the database reveals the smartphone to have the Spreadtrum T606 processor. The device will however have the ARM Mali G57 GPU, with the Android 13 operating system.

Coming to the displays, both the Hot 40 and Hot 40 Pro smartphones are to have FHD+ display panels with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a screen density of 480 xxhdpi. The Hot 40i smartphone, on the other hand, will feature an HD+ display having a 720 x 1610 pixels screen resolution and a 320 xhdpi screen density.

The front view image, it reveals a seemingly large display with quite slim bezels on three sides and a thicker chin at the bottom. The display also has a centrally aligned punch hole selfie camera on top. To add, the volume rocker and the power button can also be seen placed on the right side panel.

If we look into the previous Hot 30 series, comprising of the Hot 30, Hot 30i, Hot 30 Play NFC, and Hot 30 5G smartphones, all the devices feature a punch-hole selfie camera, except for the Hot 30i smartphone.

The previous certifications the Hot 40 and Hot 40i smartphones have received, and the recent Google Play Console listing of the three upcoming models, suggest that these smartphones may have their launch soon, and with more updates, we’ll be able to confirm it.

Infinix, a Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, will be debuting its next Hot 40 series devices soon and now, the brand’s upcoming Hot 40i smartphone receives the TDRA certification from UAE.

Infinix Hot 40i – TDRA Certification

The Infinix Hot 40i smartphone has been certified by the TDRA certification authority with the equipment registration number of ER25671/23, and has made it to the database with the model number – X6528. The database categorizes the upcoming smartphone as a mobile phone, and its certification will be valid till the 30th of October 2026.

Previously, the Hot 40i smartphone had also received the Bluetooth SIG certification, revealing that the smartphone supports a Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.0. To add, the vanilla Hot 40 smartphone had also made its appearance on both the TDRA and Bluetooth SIG certification platforms.

Apart from the two certifications, nothing much about the Hot 40i smartphone is known, and we’ll probably have to wait for more updates. In the meantime, check out the specifications of the brand’s Hot 30i smartphone below.
