Consequently, by a fraud scam, the thieves took more than a quarter million dollars of the NFTs.

The Discord account of the Bored Ape Yacht Club was hacked this morning. And a fraud scam was posted on the company’s Discord servers.

Consequently, the scam created a fake urgency, saying that only a limited amount of NFTs was available to create. This pushed the visitors to fall into the scam and consequently they rushed to make the free NFTs. When the user visited the page and tried to create the free giveaway, the page quickly stole all the Ethereum and NFTs held in the linked wallet.

Accordingly, the cybersecurity firm said that approximately 32 NFTs were stolen. The victims included from the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Otherdeed, Bored App Kennel Club, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club projects.
