Whether it’s the original Tensor and Tensor G2 both use Samsung’s technologies but there is a difference in the technology used for both chipsets. According to the tipster, the other smartphones in the series use FOPLP-POP technology while Tensor G2 IPOP technology is used.

It is said that this IPOP packaging is thicker, larger, and hotter than FOPLP and is used by Google to further cut down on costs. Google is expected to announce the Pixel 7a on May 10. In recent reports, the mid-range phone has appeared in three colours, such as Arctic Blue, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White. In a new tweet, prominent tipster Evan Blass shared an image to give a first look at the design of the Coral colour variant of the Pixel 7a.

The Coral edition of the Pixel 7a is bright orange in colour. It looks similar to the coral variant of previously released Google devices, such as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 4. In the US, the Coral variant is likely to be available only through the Google Store.

According to reports, the Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch OLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It will be powered by the Tensor G2 chipset and 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. On the storage front, the device is expected to arrive with 128 GB of UFS 3.1 chip.
