Gareth Bale has decided to end his stint with Real Madrid, the Welsh will leave Bernabeu at the end of June. However, the Wales captain only played seven minutes for this season’s Champions League. Still, he ended the affair on a high with sealing his fifth UCL title with Madrid in Paris.

The player had a roller coaster of ride with Real Madrid, a fall with Zinedine Zidane, an amazing bicycle kick in UCL 2018 final and year on loan at former club Tottenham Hotspur.

Despite his uneven time in the club over the past couple of years, he has received an overwhelming response by the fans and public.

“I write this message to say thank you to all my team mates, past and present, my managers, the backroom staff and to the fans that supported me”. He wrote on Twitter.

With now the end of Real Madrid, there are several options for Gareth Bale this summer, although nothing has been finalised yet, a decorated player like him will definitely not make any hasty decisions.

Recently, Welsh captain and Real Madrid player Gareth Bale have been mocked by the Madrid press for playing too much golf and called upon as a ‘parasite’.

Real Madrid faces Liverpool in the finals and Carlo Ancelotti considers letting Bale lose against the London club. Gareth Bale has played a total of just seven minutes in the Champions League season. With injuries getting the better of him this time.

Now, the Wales player is fit after a back issue and has trained in the final week at the club. Although, Ancelotti might just leave Bale out of the squad and the ex – Tottenham player might not even travel to Paris.

However, Bale’s past heroics in the finals have contributed to the club’s success, including his bicycle kick against Liverpool in 2018. The Welshman could possibly sign off on a high note by winning the fifth Champions League title.
