Cheerleading in Japan is a recognized sport in Japan that requires physical strength and athletic ability. Cheerleading training is available at the junior high school, high school, collegiate, club, and all – star level.
There are three leading cheerleading organizations in Japan mainly; Japan Federation for Sports Cheer & Dance, United Spirit Association Japan, Universal Cheerleaders Association.
