The current World T20 Champions have posted 186/7 in their 20 overs, 187 is the target for the Men in Blue.

Cameron Green and Tim David were the ones who completely anchored the innings of the Australian cricket team and a small cameo from Daniel Sams was also quite beneficial for the side.

Axar Patel was the pick of the bowlers from India, 3-33 in 4 overs, whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel also scalped a wicket each.

India openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma departed early back to the pavilion and now Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav (SKY) are shouldering the innings on their back.

Australia at the moment, and after that South Africa, the two T20I series will be a good preparation for the Indians just before heading to Australia for the big T20 World Cup.

At the moment, the score is 109/2 in the 13th over, Kohli at 39 and SKY at 51, India needs 65 runs in 42 balls

The match was to due to begin at 7:00 PM IST but because of the heavy rains in Nagpur over the past couple of days, the outfield was wet, which meant that the play could not start.

The groundstaff and workers worked on the ground and made all things ready for play to begin.

However, the match will be a short affair as both teams will play 8 overs each. There are also some more changes to the playing 11 conditions:

The toss will take place at 9:15 PM IST, 15 minutes before the start of the game. As per the rules, the toss takes place half hour before the start of play.

There will be a 2-over powerplay in this game. Usually in a 20-over game, there is only one powerplay which is for the first six overs.

A bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs in the 8-over game. The rules regarding this were altered in 2017.

There will be no drinks break in the 8-over game. There’s a drink break after 10 overs. Also, players call substitutes when they require drinks.

The first innings of the contest will be held from 9:30 PM IST to 10:04 PM. There will be an innings break of 10 minutes. The 2nd innings will kick off at 10:14 and shall be completed by 10:48 PM IST.

At the moment, Australia are 3 wickets down for the score of 31 in 4th over. Skipper Aaron Finch and wicketkeeper Mathew Wade are on the crease.

The World Cup winning captain has decided to give up on the 50 overs format, though he will be leading the T20I team.

After a series of low scores, Finchi decided to call it quits after the conclusion of the Chappell-Hadlee trophy. However, at the peak of his time, Aaron Finch was one of the most destructive batters of the lot.

Moreover, speaking after the clean sweep against New Zealand in the series, Finch said that he is glad that he would not have to field for 50 overs anymore. In a short farewell speech, he thanked his parents and his wife for making sacrifices so that he could achieve what he had dreamt of as a child.

“Pretty good, glad I don’t want to field 50 overs anymore. My family has sacrificed so much for me to achieve all that I have, always grateful for that,” said the Melbourne Renegades player.

“The partnership between Steve and Marnus was brilliant, to get to 260 after one of the slowest starts was just amazing. Our bowling has been good, everyone has contributed,” speaking about Steve Smith’s gutsy ton and Marnus Labuschagne crucial half century.

Australia travel to India ahead of their three match T20I series against the Men in Blue, starting from September 20.

“We go to Sydney tomorrow for a photoshoot and then to India on Thursday, so it is a quick turnaround,” added Finch on his upcoming schedule.

“There’s just so many people to thank, everyone who’s been there for me since club cricket. I’m super thankful for my wife and kids to stick with me through all my ups and downs. Will always be grateful to them,” which was the end of the Aussie man’s stint in ODI cricket.

Sunil Mahalawat and Gaurav Dhir have been accused of issuing audited account statements of fake companies to which ICT was claimed. The two CAs were also called on by the CGST office on Wednesday.

The two have been filed for cheating and fraud on the basis of the complaint filed at the Sector 40 police station in the city. They are currently in police custody.

The CA club of India is also running a Twitter poll by asking nationwide CAs by how should the certification be given to certain companies.

The statement reads as follows:

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India 20th May 2022 The matter related to recent arrest of Chartered Accountants and other instances of ill- treatment of CAs by investigating authorities was discussed today in the Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Council members expressed their strong resentment on the manner in which certain Investigating Officers are treating CAs and directly resorting to arrests. The Council was also apprised of the strong feelings of members throughout the country regarding ill-treatment being meted to certain members rather than taking strong action against the actual perpetrators. The Council of ICAI resolved to form a Group comprising of its members to interface with authorities in order to ensure that just and fair treatment is meted out to Chartered Accountants and that they are not made soft targets.
