Amazon’s Alexa Custom Assistant for Vehicles With Alexa+ Announced

The integration of Alexa+ on Amazon’s Alexa Custom Assistant is pointed to be a significant leap in the area of in-vehicle conversation AI, and it offers a combination with more than 70 different large language models as well as agentic capabilities. The shift from simple structured voice commands to natural and intelligent conversations is the main advantage of this integration. Notably, it is also powered by Amazon Bedrock on AWS.

As mentioned above, the Alexa Custom Assistant for vehicles with Alexa+ will be first coming on BMW vehicles, and its debut will take place in certain selected BMW models soon. Next generation voice capabilities with Alexa+, connected vehicle services with AWS, along with virtual hardware environments and sophisticated engineering workflows are projected as few of the key features.

Amazon also plans to expand its Alexa+ technology across across more devices and environments, and the same conversational intelligence and personalized assistance can be expected in other fields too. Also, the collaboration with BMW marks another step towards the brand’s vision in transforming how drivers interact with vehicles.

Now you might be thinking what does Dee mean or stands for? Dee stands for Digital Emotional Experience. But how can a car express its emotions?

This is the most shocking and astonishing feature of this car which registers the identity of the rider on arrival and opens the door automatically without any key or touch. It will also express its mood with visual cues on the grille and headlights. At The same time, the whole body can show different colors and can change too. And even the wheels can change color.

Its voice-controlled interior has zero buttons that make it futuristic and super cool. While most of car companies have only ideas about making their cars futuristic, BMW is already doing it. And we will soon witness the launch of this car most probably by 2025.
