Smartphones were uncomfortable devices with a split keypad and screen prior to the release of the iPhone. Due to the inability of entire websites to work on mobile devices, businesses were compelled to develop fragile mobile versions of their websites. The iPhone completely altered everything.

Since its introduction, the phone series has become extremely well-liked, and the first iPhone was named “Invention of the Year” in 2007.

Unbelievably, the first iPhone, commonly known as the iPhone 2G, sold at auction on Sunday for $39,339.60 (Rs 32.3 lakh), or 60 times its original price.

According to a claim that was posted on Moneycontrol, the unopened phone is reported to be in good condition and has 4/8 GB of storage, a 2.0 MP back camera, and a touch screen. The phone is flawless, has never been turned on, and is in like-new condition, claims the specified auction company.

They continued by saying that it would be challenging for buyers and collectors to find a comparable, more valuable collectible.

The cost at the time of its initial release ranged from $499 to $599. (Rs 41,048 – Rs 49,165). Steve Jobs, a co-founder of Apple, unveiled the iPhone to the world in 2007. In September 2022, Apple introduced the newest model in the lineup, the iPhone 14. The cost of the most recent model ranges from $799 to $1,099. It has features including a 128GB capacity with 6GB of RAM, 256GB capacity with 6GB of RAM, and 512GB capacity with 6GB of RAM.

The auction went on for seven days. At the end of it, spectrum worth Rs 1,50,173 crore was sold as stated by sources.

Sources also informed that while the provisional figure for the sale proceeds is Rs 1,50,173 crore, the final numbers are still being tallied.

The bidders in the India’s biggest ever auction included Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Gautam Adani’s Adani Data Networks.

Sources asserted that the 1,800 Mhz frequencies saw an intense bidding by Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. The intense bidding occurred for the mentioned frequencies, mainly for the UP East Circle.

The UP East circle comprises of almost 10 crore mobile subscribers. Thus the two rival telecommunication companies fought fiercely for the airwaves in that region.

The 38th round of bidding for the 5G spectrum happened today.

The 5G auction emphasizes that India has entered an intense growth phase and the industry is about to experience expansion. The Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw expressed this earlier.

5G or the 5th Generation would facilitate many awaiting solutions. Starting from e-health, connected vehicles, immersive AR (augmented reality) to metaverse experiences, an upgrade to 5G is going to revolutionize the Telecom industry as well as communication experience for the mass.

This game-worn sneaker was called the “Six Rings Legacy of The GOAT”. This was announced on Monday afternoon by Christie. We can say that this might be the most extraordinary auction event that has ever happened.

As per the sources, this was the first pair when the Jordan adventure began in 1985. This is where it all started for the “Jordan Ones”. So, in a sense, this is the founding father of the sneaker collecting world and society. This pair is in excellent shape and is an authentic pair. On the other hand, Jordan’s trading cards are projected to sell for $2-3 million. What’s fascinating about this card is that it’s practically a unicorn among card collectors. It’s an original 1985-86 [season] Fleer rookie card of Michael Jordan.

Some of the sources suggest that the anticipated selling price of the rookie card, which is the most amazing aspect of the Christie’s event, is the thought of five pairs of Jordan-worn sneakers in the same place. If the Jordan card sells for more than Christie’s estimate, it will be among the most valuable sports cards ever. The auction will last two weeks, from June 1 to 14, and the objects are expected to bring about $4 million.
