ASUS VivoWatch 5 made its debut in the year 2022 while the company was said to be working on the successor of this smartwatch- ASUS VivoWatch 6. In March this year, ASUS VivoWatch 6 was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG Certification website hinting towards its imminent launch though after that there was no update regarding the smartwatch.

Well ASUS has today officially unveiled VivoWatch 6 as the world’s first smartwatch that detects blood pressure and electrocardiogram by fingerptip. Let’s dive in to know the detailed features of this smartwatch.

ASUS VivoWatch 6: Features

The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and offers 454×454 screen resolution and 350 nits brightness. It offers 9 days of battery life in daily use and up to 14 days of battery life in Power Saving Mode.

It comes with a multi-sensor design, which means if you place your fingertips on the left and front modules of VivoWatch 6, you can get real-time readings of your blood pressure, ECG, body composition, heart rate, and SpO₂. When worn, the rear sensor automatically measures vitals throughout the day, even while you sleep. Users can monitor their health throughout the day with the latest ASUS Health AI 5.0 Algorithm.

The smartwatch is compatible with the ASUS HealthConnect app. It helps in effective emotion and stress management by calculating relaxation index and body harmony analysis while it can also track your sleeping habits. It is also capable of measuring your body temperature, steps, and calories.

It features numerous exercise modes, 5 ATM water resistance, a built-in dual-frequency GPS, a living assistant, and a weather forecasting feature. The smartwatch is suitable for long-term wear as the strap complies with numerous allergy prevention, optical safety, and burn prevention specifications.

ASUS VivoWatch 6: Pricing

The availability details are still not disclosed by the company but they did reveal that the smartwatch will be priced at £110 / €130 / $140./ 1020 Yuan.

The Taiwanese consumer electronics maker, ASUS, is now revealed to be in the works with a new smartwatch device as the successor to the 2022-launched VivoWatch 5 device – the ASUS VivoWatch 6 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG database.

ASUS VivoWatch 6 – Bluetooth SIG Certification

The upcoming ASUS VivoWatch 6 smartwatch has been certified by the Bluetooth SIG authority with the declaration ID – “D067553”, and has appeared on the certification platform with the model number – “HC-D06”. The database reveals that the device will support a Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.0.

Apart from this, nothing much about the device is known yet and we’ll probably have to wait for more updates. However, it is being assumed that the device will feature an AMOLED display panel with many customizable watch faces.

ASUS VivoWatch 5 – Specifications

The ASUS VivoWatch 5 has an LCD display screen with a size of 1.3″ and comes with customizable watch faces. Its watch strap also has a quick-release design too, and the device is 5-ATM water resistant.

On the health side, the watch has ECG and PPG sensors, which will enable users to monitor pulse-transit time or PTT, heart rate, de-stress levels, body harmony index, sleep patterns, as well as activity levels. Blood-oxygen levels or SpO2 and skin temperature can also be tracked. Female menstrual cycles, heart rate, and blood pressure data can also be managed with the help of the ASUS HealthConnect app.

About its battery, the device will have a decently large battery packed within and it will offer a battery life of up to 14 days to its users.
