The series included three models- ROG Phone 9, ROG Phone 9 Pro, and ROG Phone 9 Pro Edition. The brand also seems to be planning on launching a more affordable variant of ROG Phone 9- ROG Phone 9 FE. Last year this device already made its appearance on GSMA and <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/asus-rog-phone-9-fe-wifi-alliance/">WiFi alliance</a> databases.</p>
<p>ASUS ROG Phone 9 FE has now been spotted on Malaysia&#8217;s SIRIM certification and Thailand&#8217;s NBTC database with model number ASUS_AI2401_N.</p>

<a href='https://www.thetechoutlook.com/tech-whispers/asus-rog-phone-9-fe-currently-under-works-spotted-on-sirim-and-nbtc-certifications/attachment/asus-rog-phone-9-sirm-certification-1068x3241/'><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1068" height="324" src="https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1.jpg" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="" srcset="https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1.jpg 1068w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1-300x91.jpg 300w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1-1024x311.jpg 1024w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1-768x233.jpg 768w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-SIRM-certification-1068x3241-1-150x46.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1068px) 100vw, 1068px" /></a>
<a href='https://www.thetechoutlook.com/tech-whispers/asus-rog-phone-9-fe-currently-under-works-spotted-on-sirim-and-nbtc-certifications/attachment/asus-rog-phone-9-fe-on-nbtc-database1/'><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="656" height="756" src="https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-FE-on-NBTC-Database1.jpg" class="attachment-full size-full" alt="" srcset="https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-FE-on-NBTC-Database1.jpg 656w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-FE-on-NBTC-Database1-260x300.jpg 260w, https://www.thetechoutlook.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Asus-ROG-Phone-9-FE-on-NBTC-Database1-150x173.jpg 150w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 656px) 100vw, 656px" /></a>

<p>Both the listings reveal the moniker of the device while the NBTC database reveals that the smartphone will support GSM/WCDMA/LTE/NR connectivity options. ASUS ROG Phone 8 and Phone 8 Pro have a similar model number- AI2401, therefore it is assumed that just like ROG Phone 8/8 Pro, ROG Phone 9 FE could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as well. Though we should wait for more updates before concluding.</p>
<p>The previous WiFi alliance database revealed that the device will support 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz WiFi bands and WiFi 6 Miracast. The smartphone is expected to arrive with ROG UI based on Android 15 and can be priced lower than ROG Phone 9 series devices.</p>
<p>In the coming days, we may come across some more updates related to this upcoming smartphone. Stay tuned for all the updates.</p>
