In the ongoing 5G spectrum auctions, after 30 rounds of bidding, the government has so far received bids worth Rs 1,49,967 crores. On Saturday, which was day 5 of auctions, seven rounds were conducted, in which the Department of Telecom submitted bids totaling Rs 112 crore (DoT). Monday, August 1st, sees the continuation of the auction. The bid process has already gone through seven rounds.

On Friday, there was heated bidding for the 1800 Mhz band in Uttar Pradesh (East), with the price per unit climbing by 49 percent to Rs 135.60 crore. Analysts estimate that Reliance Jio spent 84,000 crores on the spectrum, compared to Bharti Airtel’s 46,000 crores and Vi’s 18,500 crores.

after a busy opening day on Tuesday, when bids worth Rs. 1.45 lakh crore were made. The estimated value of the 72 GHz accessible spectrum is at least Rs 4.3 lakh crore. There are currently auctions for spectrum in the low frequency 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2500 MHz, mid-frequency 3300 MHz, and high frequency 26 GHz bands.

Union Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that Rollouts of 5G are anticipated to begin by October 2022, and India will have a sizable amount of 5G coverage in 2 years.

This was the sheer intraday downfall of the US-based firm in the market so far.

This resulted in Mark Zuckerberg diving to 12th position in richest man, worldwide. Zuckerberg’s net worth stands at $84.8 billion. This net worth is lower than Mukesh Ambani’s worth $ 89.5 billion, and Gautam Adani’s $90.5 billion respectively, as calculated by Forbes.

As per analysis, Meta’s general inventory worth crashed by over 200 billion USD, roughly equal to the dimensions of New Zealand’s economic system. In the fourth quarter, Meta has reported a turnover of 33.67 billion$, however, has made $10.3 billion in internet revenue, which is about 8% lower than the final 12 months, as per sources.

Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Ltd. plans to invest $75 Billion in renewable energy is by far the biggest in India. The investment will be made on renewable energy infrastructure including generation plants, solar panels, and electrolyzers.

Reliance ids opting for Hydrogen against India’s wholesale electricity market, which is degraded by financially low utilities and by delayed payments.

“Reliance Industries is preparing itself to capture the entire value chain of the green hydrogen economy in India,” said Gagan Sidhu, director at the Centre for Energy Finance at New Delhi-based think tank CEEW, reports say.

In 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced to make India, the third biggest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world and also a major energy importer for becoming a hub for production and export of the fuel.

Green Hydrogen is critical for sustainable energy and net-zero emissions economies as it is a clean energy solution. Green Hydrogen is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable sources.

There are many countries working on hydrogen strategy, where the U.S.A, India, China are expected to reshape the global market, according to analysis.

Other major companies of India like Adani Enterprises Ltd., NTPC Ltd.(National Thermal Power Corporation Limited), and  IOC(Indian Oil Corp.) are also working on the same strategy for Green Hydrogen.
