Amazon Great Republic Day Sale 2026: TCL 55″ 4K Ultra HD Smart QLED Google TV (55T8C) Drops to Lowest Price Since Launch
Amazon has officially kicked off the Great Republic Day Sale 2026 in India, bringing discounts across a wide range of products. Among the notable deals, the TCL 55″ 4K Ultra HD Smart QLED Google TV (model number: 55T8C) is currently available at its lowest price since launch.

The TCL T8C series was launched in May 2025, with the 55-inch model originally priced between ₹45,000 and ₹48,000. During the Great Indian Festival sale, the TV dropped to around ₹34,240.
Now, as part of the Great Republic Day Sale, the TV is listed on Amazon for ₹37,990. Additionally, Amazon is offering a ₹4,500 coupon discount, bringing the effective price down to ₹33,490, which is currently the lowest price since its launch.
Buyers using an SBI Bank credit card can also avail an additional discount of up to ₹1,500.
Interestingly, Flipkart is also running its Republic Day Sale, where the same TV is priced at ₹38,990. This makes Amazon the better deal at the time of writing.
Specs and Features
This TV features a 4K QLED display with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, along with variable refresh rate up to 144 Hz and a 240 Hz DLG mode. For connectivity, it includes four HDMI ports, one USB port, a LAN port, an antenna input, and a digital audio output. The audio system delivers 35 W output and supports Dolby Atmos.
It runs on Google TV with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor, and supports Wi-Fi 5. Smart features include Google Assistant, built-in apps such as Prime Video, Netflix, Hotstar, and Zee5, a web browser, screen mirroring, compatibility with Alexa, Game Master mode, a 288 Hz game accelerator, and multiple eye care features. The TV is rated 3-star for energy efficiency with an annual power consumption of 180 kWh.
The display uses a 4K UHD QLED panel and supports 4K HDR Pro, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and multiple HDR formats. It is equipped with the AiPQ processor, bionic colour optimisation technology, QLED quantum crystal technology, 144 Hz motion clarity pro, MEMC 120 Hz, and micro dimming. The design features a metallic bezel-less finish.
On the downside, the TV offers only one USB port, comes with Wi-Fi 5 instead of the newer Wi-Fi 6 standard, and carries a 3-star energy efficiency rating.
