The Sound Tower ST50F is the larger model, featuring a 240W output, 6.5-inch dual woofers, and 1-inch dual dome tweeters, tuned with Samsung’s Waveguide technology for a wider soundstage. It offers three bass modes — Deep, Punchy, Gentle — and four sound profiles — Standard, Wide, Stadium, Outdoor. With a battery life of up to 18 hours, a replaceable battery, and transport features like a telescopic handle and wheels, it is built for extended use.
The Sound Tower ST40F provides a 160W output with 5.25-inch dual woofers and 3/4-inch dome tweeters. It has a battery life of up to 12 hours, is water-resistant, and includes an integrated handle for easy transport. Both models support Auracast Group Play for connecting multiple units, True Wireless Stereo pairing, and entertainment features like DJ Booth, Karaoke mode, and a guitar input.
Lighting Features
The Party Lights system syncs lighting effects with the music’s beat in real time. LEDs are placed in five main areas: – Track light: surrounds the woofers with racetrack-style patterns
– Ring light: highlights colors around the tweeters
– Line lights: frame the speaker’s body
– Crystal lights: located at the base for added visual impact
– Handle light: lights up the control panel and can hold a tablet or smartphone
Users can select from five mood presets and six dynamic lighting patterns (Wave, Trail, Spark, Breeze, Flow, Flare) using the Samsung Sound Tower app, creating atmospheres from “Festival” to “Chill.”
Both models feature Samsung’s Grip & Roll design, which blends bold geometric shapes with practical portability. The ST40F includes a bottom grip slot and integrated handle, while the ST50F adds wheels and a telescopic handle for easier transport.
Pricing and Availability
The new Sound Tower speakers will be available this month on Samsung.com and through select retailers. The ST50F is priced at $699.99, while the ST40F will retail at $499.99.
