Amazon Great Republic Day Sale and Flipkart Republic Day Sale to Start from January 16th and January 17th

Those who have been waiting to buy something online can get ready, as Amazon and Flipkart are set to roll out their Republic Day sales soon. According to information shared by Amazon India via a press release, the company will kick off its Amazon Great Republic Day Sale in India starting January 16th, 2026.

As per the banner posted on Amazon India, customers using an SBI Bank credit card can avail a 10% instant discount, including on EMI transactions. Additionally, users holding the Amazon ICICI Bank credit card can receive up to 5% cashback during the sale.

At the moment, this is only an announcement. More details regarding participating products and offers are expected to be revealed on 16 January, with early access likely for Amazon Prime members (yet to be officially confirmed).

Meanwhile, Flipkart will host its own Republic Day Sale starting 17th January 2026, just a day after Amazon’s sale begins. As per the banner shared by Flipkart, customers using HDFC Bank credit cards can get up to 10% instant discount, along with easy EMI options.

Flipkart Plus and Black members will also receive 24-hour early access to the sale. The deals shown in the image include up to ₹400 off when using the Flipkart Bajaj Finserv Insta EMI Card and 5% cashback with the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card. In addition, Plus members can unlock extra benefits such as an instant 12% discount with bank offers, early access to the sale, and an extra 10% off using SuperCoins.
