Xbox Users Report Sign-in Troubles: Xbox Support Team Now Investigating and Working to Resolve the Issue
A few Xbox users are now reporting that they are having trouble signing in onto their profiles. The support team of the brand has already addressed the issue on X, and is currently investigating and looking into the matter.

Xbox Outage – Users Facing Sign-in Troubles
Today on the 17th of July 2025 at 6:00 AM, Xbox users have reported an issue with respect to ‘Account & Profile’. The Xbox Status page lists the issue as faced by limited users, and this is because the sign-in functionality is unavailable to them. It applies to Xbox 360 and backward compatibility, and affected users may have trouble signing in to their Xbox profile, may get disconnected when signed-in, or will likely have a related problem. Moreover, most of the games, apps, and social activity that require sign-in will also be unavailable to the affected users.
On the X platform, as mentioned, the Xbox support team has addressed the issue and began investigation at 12:42:58, and has started working on resolving it from 13:07:57. As the problem has been identified, affected users can soon expect the issue to be rectified and all will go back to normal just like before.
