OnePlus 13s Smartphone User Reports Green Line Issue on Reddit: Issue Caused Without Updating

The April 2025-released OnePlus 13T smartphone, following its Chinese debut, reached the Indian shores early last month in June 2025, re-branded as the OnePlus 13s. Within no time, the whole Indian tech community started admiring the compact-sized OnePlus flagship and it was believed that OnePlus will slowly capture back its market share. Well, things now seems to be the other way around as a OnePlus 13s user just recently reported a green line issue on his device, that too caused without updating.

OnePlus 13s – Green Line Issue Without Updating

On the Reddit platform, a OnePlus 13s smartphone user has reported the Green line issue and notably, this wasn’t caused after updating the device. As noted by him, the smartphone device was purchased by him recently and within a few days itself, he spotted a Green line on the display at the left portion (given in the image). While this went away without doing any troubleshooting, he added that in the same place, the Green line again appeared and it only went after restarting the device. Understanding that there could be something wrong, the user also mentions taking photos and videos as proof.

While OnePlus has already announced a worry-free service experience for its Indian customers, the service center experience of this user is entirely different. His video recording did not show the IMEI number was the first thing spotted out by the service center, and after two hours of checking (~ retrieving logs), this OnePlus 13s user was asked to simply monitor the device for a few days to see whether or not the Green line would appear again. To his query regarding what will happen after the 15 days replacement policy of the device, the service center informed him that nothing could be done after that and he will probably have to replace the display of his brand new smartphone.

OnePlus users and the other tech enthusiasts are truly shocked to learn about this as even after making display improvements and promising replacements as well as a worry-free experience, this is what a new OnePlus smartphone user had to go through. The brand should really be looking into this matter seriously and must make the necessary interventions, otherwise its future in the Indian market will still remain questionable.
