Apple Support Weibo account shares a promotional video for the Galaxy Z Flip 7; Company later clarifies about the incident

In the past years, we have seen Apple and Samsung companies taking a dig at each other whenever one of them launches a new smartphone in the industry. Both companies being sarcastic with each other was nothing new, but a recent act by Apple amused the tech industry.
Yesterday, China’s official Apple support Weibo account posted about setting parental controls on your devices, but what caught the attention of many users was that along with the post, Apple shared a promotional video of Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Flip 7 smartphone.

Though the above post was taken down but till then the post was already circulated online. Many users reacted humorously to this mix-up, considering Apple’s first foldable is also rumored to be currently under works.
It is now revealed that this was not a mistake by Apple and was instead reportedly caused by an issue on the Weibo client side that displayed the wrong video alongside Apple’s post. Apple Spokeperson said in a statement, “Apple Support has only posted Apple content. We are working with Weibo to understand how this happened.”
Well, this accidental mix-up surely grabbed a lot of attention online as it’s not every day you get to see Apple promote a Samsung device officially.
