Truck containing about 12,000 Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 units stolen near London Heathrow Airport

The South Korean tech giant Samsung unveiled its latest foldable smartphones- Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE smartphones on 9th July. The official sale for these devices started on 25th July, and the consumers have also started purchasing their preferred devices.

But there is some bad news for Samsung! Tipster @UniverseIce has revealed that a truck carrying Samsung Electronics’ latest foldable phones- Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, was recently stolen near London Heathrow Airport. As per the report, about 12,000 Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 units were stolen.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7 costs £ 1,049 (starting price) and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 costs £ 1,799 (starting price) in the UK. It is said that the 12,000 units stolen resulted in economic losses of $10.6 million. It is not mentioned whether the truck has been found yet or not. Samsung is expected to work with UK law enforcement to find the stolen devices. The company will also have to blacklist the stolen devices so that they can’t be sold illegally.

This theft may impact the delivery and availability of Samsung’s latest foldables in the UK market, and users could face a delay in delivery.
