With the launch of Jio 5G service in 20 cities Jio 5G service become available in 277 cities of India

With the passing days, Jio is expanding at a massive rate. One of the examples of its massive growth is that it has become India’s first telecom service provider to have such a wide 5G coverage in India. Now it has launched the 5G service in other cities also which makes the Jio 5G service available in 277 cities in India.

This time it has been launched in 20 cities which are:-

Assam – Bongaigaon, North Lakhimpur, Sivasagar, Tinsukia

Bihar – Katihar, Bhagalpur

Goa – Mormugao

Gujarat – Gandhidham

Daman & Diu – Diu

Jharkhand – Hazaribag, Deoghar, Bokaro Steel City

Karnataka – Raichur

Madhya Pradesh – Satna

Maharashtra – Chandrapur, Ichalkaranji

Manipur – Thoubal

Uttar Pradesh – Muzaffarnagar, Firozabad, Faizabad

Now the users in these cities will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer for experiencing Unlimited Data at up to 1GBps+ speed. The launch of the 5G service by Jio is going to be an advantage for these cities as these cities are important tourism and commerce destinations. A Jio spokesperson said, “We are grateful to the state government and Administrators of Assam, Bihar, Goa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Gujrat, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh for their continuous support in our quest to digitize the region”. Jio has said that users with 4G SIM need not upgrade or change the SIM to 5G for 5G service just they need 5G service in their city and a 5G phone.
