Why is PETA trending on Twitter? Here is the reason

On the occasion of Bakrid, people on twitter are calling up PETA for coming on the stage and saving animals who have been assassinated on the name of festival.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals abbreviated as PETA is a non governmental American organization. Basically, an NGO who is committed to help and save innocent animals who cannot raise their voice for themselves.

Moreover, PETA, a non-profit organization, also expands their sources in order to save animal rights. However it is currently based in Norfolk, Virginia which was founded in 1980 by Ingrid Newkirk. Besides, the organisation reports that PETA has over 9 million members globally.

Meanwhile, on the occasion of Bakrid, numerous people questioned PETA for not posting on behalf of the animals who will be assassinated for the festival.

Whenever there are other festivals like Holi, Diwali, PETA comes up in support of stray animals and asks people to take care of them. So why PETA is not taking any step to save those innocent animals on Bakrid.

Additionally, people made several posters and messages tagging PETA for taking steps forward and saving those animals. Some users also criticised the universal organization for showing double standards while mentioning about PETA.
