Indians are now Cancelling Kia Cars Bookings after Kashmir Freedom Post

Following the controversy that erupted after Hyundai Motor Company’s Pakistani subsidiary called for the disintegration of the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir from the Union of India, it’s sister company Kia Motors Corporation ran into trouble after its dealer in Pakistan’s Hyderabad made a similar statement.

The Kia Crossroads shop in Hyderabad, Pakistan, posted a tweet in celebration of so-called Kashmir Day, claiming that it stands for Kashmir’s freedom.

On Saturday, Kia Motors tweeted, “We stand united for Kashmir’s liberation. #KashmirDay #5Feb.”

Kia Customers who had booked their cars have now started the trend of Cancelling Kia Car’s Bookings. This move is in response to show the solidarity of Indians who are hurt by the Posts. Indians have always treated Kashmir as a part of India. After the posts went viral people started trending Boycottkiamotors on Twitter. This was made to show Kia Motors that they are hurt because of the statements made by one of their branches in India.
