A Zomato food outlet from nowhere ended up delivering chicken pieces in veg chaap
Being a vegetarian and ending up eating nonveg because of someone else’s mistake can make anyone furious. Something similar happened with a Twitter username Rijul who ordered veg chaap from Zomato and found pieces of chicken inside it.
He took his Twitter account to write

To be hundred percent sure about the vegetarian food he made sure to order from a vegetarian outlet. In comments, some of the users said that it can be a piece of ginger. In response, he wrote his nonvegetarian friend had confirmed him by finding bones in the dish. After all, when the user tried to locate the outlet, he ended up finding no food outlet with the same name at that location. The user also mentioned that he has raised the complaint to the Consumer court and FSSAI. A username Vivek in the comments shared his incident in which Zomato delivered him chicken biryani in place of subj biryani.
Zomato has earlier also been accused of increasing the price of dishes online. Zomato will have to take these issues into consideration so that these problems get solved before damaging its image of it.
