Warranty Extended to May 31st globally by Motorola & Lenovo

On 3rd April 2020, both companies Lenovo and Motorola extended their global warranty to 31st May 2020. This extension will apply to Smartphones and accessories of the respective brand. This extension came in amid of the coronavirus epidemic, is for 75 days.

Both companies have added themselves to the list of companies who have recently done the same. Companies like  Huawei and Honor have already extended the warranty on their devices, followed by Realme who also extended it till May 31st.

“To better support our customers, Lenovo and Motorola are offering a free global warranty extension for up to 75 days through May 31, 2020, for all Lenovo/ Motorola smartphones and accessories with warranties that are coming to an end between March 15 through April 30, 2020.”

Lenovo and Motorola made a statement in a press release.

One plus also did the same by extending the warranty on their products and also the return period. The biggest highlight would be the South Korean brand “SAMSUNG” which extended the warranty on all its devices. SAMSUNG will honor this extension on smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and even TV sets.
