‘Anonymous,’ a hacktivist group, has declared a “cyber war” against Sri Lanka called “Op-SriLanka.”

According to their tweets, the hacking collective’s goal is to expose corruption in Sri Lanka and deactivate government websites. The group also targeted the official website of the Sri Lanka Police.

Anonymous: it is believed that the hacker collective attacked multiple TV channel websites. On April 21, one of Derana Media Network’s websites, ’24.adaderana.lk,’ went down for a short time due to a cyber attack by a group called “Sri Hub Dev.” The website went down for a while and then came back up.
