Team OneFist claimed to have taken down the Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation in a recent tweet

Team OneFist has claimed to have taken down the Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation in its recent tweet. Team OneFist has worked with the IT Army of Ukraine to conduct a geoblock of the Russian website.

According to a source, the IT Army has said, “Today’s goal-public services in Russia. This is just the beginning, and the effect is already felt. I advise the Russians to prepare, there will be many more pleasant surprises.” They have also urged other hacking groups to join their forces.

The Public Services Portal of the Russian Federation provides a service that is designed to give extended citizenship permits to the foreign citizens in the Russian Federation. The portal is a unified government portal designed to facilitate interactions between people and the government.

The Anonymous Collective group’s Twitter account Anonymous has posted claiming their successful hacking of the Russian government’s website in a thread of other hacking lists.

Reportedly, the Anonymous Collective has claimed to wage a series of cyber attacks in response to the Russian invasion. Russia has previously destroyed digital networks in Ukraine just before the initiation of its invasion. The Russian Federation has also corrupted more than thousands of Ukrainian computers and hacked several Ukrainian government websites.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian hacker collectives also gained momentum and performed cyber attacks on several of Russia’s leading websites. On June 25, Team OneFist claimed to take control of a transformer in Russia’s Kharanorskaya GRES Trans-Baikal region which weakened two of Russia’s power plants. The group has also claimed to perform a special operation against an iRZ RU21, an industrial router system. Yet again Team OneFist’s name surfaced in a recent hacking on a Russian government’s website. Reportedly, Team OneFist, IT Army Ukraine, and the Anonymous Collective have been performing cyber-attacks on Russia in order to protest against their invasion efforts.

However, some Twitter users have claimed that the Public Service Portal is under maintenance and thus it is showing an error page in order to urge the collective to reveal more information.
