Oppo and OnePlus global twitter/X accounts hacked, now recovered

Cybersecurity has undoubtedly become an important aspect of everyone’s life. Recently, hacking attempts on major organizations have increased significantly. Adding to the list are Oppo and OnePlus, whose Twitter/X accounts were hacked early this morning.

They were hacked by a hacker with the username @diparisx64, who wrote a message in Portuguese: ‘Hackeado por @diparisx64 final de semana é nós que manda kkkkkkk’ on the Oppo Global Twitter/X account. This translates to ‘Hacked by @diparisx64, we’re in charge this weekend hahaha.

And a similar message was posted on the OnePlus global account. However, as we have checked now both of these messages have been deleted, and probably Oppo and OnePlus have again regained access to their accounts.

The brand in question hasn’t come forward about as to what had happened. But this actually puts the importance of cybersecurity in today’s world for sure.

We will keep you posted if anything new develops in this story.
