OnePlus, the leading Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, has started to roll out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.501 update to its flagship 8T smartphone in the Indian region. The update will be bringing certain bug fixes to the device, as well as the latest March 2024 Android security patch.

OnePlus 8T – OxygenOS 14.0.0.501 Update
This OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 8T smartphone has the firmware version – “KB2001_14.0.0.501(EX01)”, and as mentioned it will bring certain bug fixes to the device. To enhance the overall system security, the smartphone will also be integrated with the March 2024 Android security patch as well.
The changelogs are the reduction of power consumption to extend battery life, added switch for year/month/day views in Settings, and fixes for the issue that causes apps to crash, display issue with the status bar, and the lock screen display issue that occurs when charger is disconnected.

Do note that the update is incremental in nature, and will only be rolled out in a batch-wise manner. Feedback about any other bugs or encountered issues can be submitted via the pop-up window that appears on dialing “*#800#” on the Google Dialer.
